Tips and Tricks I learned along the way :D

Hello! I wanna share my tips and tricks I learned now that I'm slowly earning hehe :D so, at first I thought you need a fancy resume something that is filled to the brim, for example a degree or work experiences. But no, if people like your content, companies will naturally commission you. You don't need fancy titles or degree that correlates in content making to start, that is mostly a plus. Just be genuine and, consistency is the key! Instead of a resume, make a mini showcase of your content. No one really reads resume these days.. Companies like being straight to the point. ++ interact on other UGC creators to avoid being shadow banned and join groups, or post your work on ALL platforms. Make use of some tips social media gives you when/ what time to post. Know your demographic and find your niche!! It will make your UGC journey better if you enjoy what you create.

I hope we all genuinely win in this life!!

plz hire me need hustle so bad..

For context: F20 and second year polsci student. Last 2020 my father died due to heart attack (diabetes) he was our sole bread winner. My mother doesn’t work, housewife. She tried to find work tho but due to her age she can’t find one (once lang sya naghanap then di na sya ulit nagtry). And my sister’s currently a 1st yr animation student. I need work for my sister’s education. I’m so distraught rn, my mother just told me that I should leave if I can’t contribute to our expenses. I used to shoulder expenses but due to my mental health declining in tht work space bc of toxicity, I left. Now sinusumbatan ako ni mudra bakit raw ako umalis. Day and night. I have scholarship kaso 3k na lang natira dahil sa dami ng gastusin, next sem na ulit makakakuha. Pls help us. Idk how to continue anymore. Wala na kami pambayad sa kuryente, hindi rin nagbabayad samin ung nakiki-kuryente (my tita). This is my last hope.

I used to be the pub head for 3 yrs in that workplace. So I edit pubmats, create pptx, put captions and used to be the social media manager of our school org. I also do simple video editing and marunong mag basic color grading. I could also copy read since may exp naman ako. Could only take WFH dahil ayaw ni mudra na lumalayas ako ng bahay

At least for the sake of my sister, kahit pangarap na lang nya matupad.. 🥹🙏🙏

Desperate in need of help in preparation to take my major exam (eyeing on Major in Paralegal Studies)

I am a 2nd year political science student and we have an upcoming exam to determine which major we’ll end up in. I want to get into Legal Studies/Paralegal, but I’m honestly weak in our major subjects. Most of the time, I can’t answer whenever I get picked by the index card of doom hahaha. I am stressing and putting a lot of pressure on myself to do well and be good enough.

I think I can handle it if I have a stable foundation of the exam coverage. The problem is, I don’t know where to start. Our classes have mostly been online—hybrid learning, actually. I think I’m at that point in my life where I genuinely want to take things seriously. I’ve been through a lot, especially this 2nd year. I want to improve and make it back to the dean’s list. Hopefully someone can give me advice or anything that could help me lock in.

Here’s how it will go:

Coverage:

Comparative Politics

Introduction to Philippine Politics and Government

Fundamentals of Political Science

Format: 75–80 items (Multiple Choice)

Panel Interview:
This will assess if you are fit for your chosen major/track:

Paralegal

Policy Management

Local Government Administration

Be prepared to answer questions about key concepts and theories related to your preferred track.

Any advice or suggestions are appreciated. Thank you!

Hello. This is something that I could and couldn’t explain. Like seriously, I need answers.

Few days ago I was researching about Macau for our Rizal presentation. There, I came across the Ruins of St. Paul, a famous tourist spot. Then, out of curiosity I reminisced back what I’ve experienced and realized that I had a special/terrifying one.

Few months ago, in November I was in Macau competing. Every night we were out in the Senado Square and taking advantage of the free tastes in stalls. Then, we decided to visit the Ruins of St. Paul which was close to our place. There, the view was magnificent and all, our camera storage was full. All was well until I can’t help myself explore the place. So, I left the group. (Rookie mistake, I know)

There I noticed a little pathway on the left side of the ruin (facing in) then I saw two people, man and woman, somewhere along their mid twenties; they’re pale-skinned, and the man was a bit tall. I don’t know what possessed me but I followed them, there I was greeted by a worn-out shed. Then, I saw them took a sharp turn on the left, I took a peak but they were nowhere to be found. I got creeped out but shrugged it off anyway. Second time, something’s calling me to look at the left side again. There, a white fluffy cat with a red collar and a bell (?) was waiting, it was as if saying ‘to follow me’ and as usual as a cat lover, I followed the fluffy cat.

Yeah, at this part I freaking knew what I got myself into. As I’m going deeper on the left side, the tourist noise was slowly drowning out and it was replaced by an old music from a record store from across at the bottom of the stone stairway. The language, it sounds mandarin but a bit different. I can’t really put it into words but I think you get it. So, fully in the left side of the ruin, I was almost captivated by its sound, but the ringing of tiny bells and the sudden gush of wind made me come back to this alleyway. At the end, is the worn-out shed I saw earlier except there was this force that’s making me go near it and “open” it. There was this thing from the shed that caught my eye, an ancient brass lock.

But I knew that there’s something wrong so even if my hands were itching to open the shed, I did not dare too, I could also “sense” like black static inside of it. So, I turned to the left (a lot of lefts) and there was the fluffy cat waiting inside of a what it seemed to be a walled-village. I was actually astonished to see one in real life. But, the wind blew harder again and the sound of high pitched bells made me come back to whatever this situation I’m in. There were like paper strips hanging on some of the bells, and beyond it I heard a woman laughing faintly but like heartily, I could also feel like someone might come out and invite me in. The place beyond was inviting, warm, the lights were also giving this “you’re safe” vibes, the bamboos on each side were so vibrant like it made me want to live there and stay forever.

So, I slowly walked towards the entrance (still the cat waiting by) but with each step it was heavy, my breathing was slowly getting rapid, and I felt heaviness in the atmosphere. Like, I’m suddenly depressed despite of the ‘warm scene’ in front of me. With my foot almost stepping inside, I heard a woman’s voice behind me yelling “No!” And that made me “wake-up” and come back to reality. Suddenly, the warmth in front got ‘unfamiliar’, there was no lightness anymore. It was sadness, anger, all kinds of negativity. Which made me blurt out “sorry” towards the cat, because I can’t continue in or I might get ‘sucked-in’. And, surprisingly the cat left as if it understood that I can’t come or follow him. Out of nowhere, the lights were not bright anymore and I could hear the tourist noise again. I hurried out of the left side and went back to my group and learned that they were looking for me for quite some time now, and told me to stick to them closely next time.

Back to present.

I made a quick google search and learned that the left side (and behind the ruins) was a section of the Old City Walls (where it was a former residence of many of the slaves) and a crypt of the many Japanese and Korean slaves, and Japanese Christian martyrs who were persecuted. And the worn-out shed I saw with a weird feeling was a Temple, specifically Na Tcha Temple, who’s a child-deity who protects the place from plagues and wards off evil, and the “shed” houses ritual instruments they use during the festival.

Idk, if it’s because I was alone and/or that my imagination ran wild, or I really did ‘time-slipped’ and I was actually in it. It’s one of the most profound and ‘eerie’ experience I’ve ever had—and I’ve experienced a lot of unexplainable things.
