Anyone get a HT that couldn’t stabilize on meds?

I’m curious if anyone still went ahead with a HT even after not really being able to stabilize on meds. The point of this being just to have better hair until you ultimately decide to shave it down the road.

Columbus parking has officially gotten out of control

Can we talk about how absolutely ridiculous parking in Columbus has become?

Every single empty piece of pavement downtown is somehow a paid lot now. Doesn’t matter if you’re grabbing coffee, going to dinner, supporting a local event, or just trying to exist for 20 minutes somebody’s got a QR code ready to charge you $18.

But the one that really got me was this weekend. The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, literally a charity event raising money for breast cancer awareness and research!! and LAZ Parking decided THAT was the perfect time to INCREASE parking prices.

Like come on. Thousands of people showing up to support a good cause and the response is “How can we squeeze a few more dollars out of them?”

At some point Columbus has to realize people are getting sick of feeling nickel-and-dimed every time they leave the house.

Advice needed

This is my situation and I would like some advice on how you all would proceed:

I started finasteride 1mg and minoxidil 2.5mg in October of 2024 (see picture). However my hair continued to worsen over the next year. Density slowly got worse. I then decided to start Dutasteride in November of 2025, at first I thought it was thickening my hair. Then around mid February I started losing TONS of hair, like the most I’ve ever seen. It fills my sink when I just run a comb through it. I’m not quite sure what to make of this. How did Dutasteride completely destroy my hair in the span of 4 months?

Was it worth it?

I’m envious of those who have gone through with it. My question is was it worth it? Specifically those in their 20s. I’m 25, and still have quite a bit of hair, however I have struggled to truly stop the loss. Finasteride for over a year and slowly worsened, started Dutasteride 6 months ago and have lost almost 50% of my density. I was hoping to plan for a hair transplant but now that DUT has cooked my hair, I fear it may no longer be an option for me. But then I also tell myself, why not go with it to have good hair for a few years if I’m to shave my head in the future anyway? Thoughts ?

Diffuse thinners. Is hair density like this ever possible again? Would love to see some success pictures before and after.

For some context: I was Fin and min for about a year. In November of 2025 I switched to DUT. Around mid February I started losing tons of hair, to the point where my sink would be filled with hair after running a comb through it. This has been happening up until today. (The 1st picture is when I started, the second now)

Question: Is Dutasteride shedding a real thing And if so does it ever grow back? Also is that what this looks like?

Started Dutasteride in November 2025, started rapidly losing hair mid February. There’s no way a shed does this, will it grow back? (First pic is start, second is today)
