My wife and I are building a new home and we have Govee lights all around the outside and inside but I can’t figure out what to do for the front porch light. There’s no can light housing in the ceiling so it’s just a 4-6” circle cut into the ceiling boards.

So basically this needs to be some kind of clip in device similar to what we did with the Govee recessed down light 2 we installed throughout the inside. Obviously those clip ins won’t work outside so I’m looking for ideas or maybe even what you have done to have Govee on the front porch ceiling light

I’m also open to buying a cheap housing they can accept Govee bulbs if that is a thing.

I’m building a new house with all govee lighting throughout. And in the kitchen we’re gonna do the H61B5 on both under cabinet and toe kick. So ask has anyone done this? And if so how did it turn out?

Also if anyone is interested in seeing how my Govee smart house turns out I’d be willing to document along the way. It’s fully custom design by myself, and one put hours and hours on. We are one day into running electrical wiring so this is when all the fun is happening.

Hey everyone. Brand new to Eufy, my wife and I are building a new house and purchased the eufy security camera system with 2 bullet-PTZ and 2 turret cams for the 4 corners of our house.

Since we’re still building we’re a couple months away from install and I had a question about just how much the built in lights on these cameras actually can light up sections of your yard?

We will have some other exterior lights but I want to see a visual of just how well at night the included white light actually illuminates or should we spring and get a couple flood lights?

I tried doing image and YouTube searches but it only showed views from the cameras with the lights on. I want to see a second hand photo of the unit itself illuminating outside when it’s dark. Any help with examples would be great.
