Copa Airlines auto-canceling/refunding bookings for one card but passing another — Fraud Prevention system bug?

Hi everyone,
I’m trying to book a flight on Copa Airlines’ website and running into a frustrating payment issue.

Every time my husband tries to buy his ticket using his credit card, the website accepts the payment at first and generates a 6-character PNR code. However, within a few minutes, Copa automatically voids/cancels the reservation and issues a refund.

We have tried logging in, using Guest checkout, and changing different credit cards. We called our bank, and they confirmed the charge is approved on their end—it is Copa Airlines refusing/refunding the transaction.

It seems like his name or card has been temporarily flagged by Copa’s Fraud Prevention System (Accertify/CyberSource) after a minor initial glitch.

Has anyone experienced this before? Is there a way to clear this auto-cancel flag?

Payment processor card tokenization failed when booking Yosemite lodging

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to book accommodation at Curry Village and glacier point tour through the
"travelyosemite.com" reservation website, but I keep getting this error as soon as I click "Pay":

"Payment processor card tokenization failed."

l've tried three different credit cards from different banks, multiple devices and browsers, incognito mode, and different internet connections. The error appears immediately, before any bank authorization or verification.

Has anyone else, especially international visitors, experienced this issue? Could it be that the payment system has trouble processing foreign credit cards?
Thanks!

Does an 87-day trip to South America reset the 90-day VWP period?

My planned itinerary is:
U.S. Yosemite national park(10 days) → Peru (42 days) → Bolivia (10 days) → Chile (35 days) → U.S. San Francisco city tour(5 days)

I know that trips to Canada, Mexico, or certain adjacent islands generally do not reset the 90-day VWP period.

Since I’ll be leaving the U.S. and traveling in South America for 87 days before returning from Chile, would my return to the U.S. be considered a new admission with a new 90-day period under the VWP?

Has anyone had a similar experience?
