Kinmen Island Travel Tips: If you are visiting the island , don't skip the military tunnels

Most visitors to Taiwan go to of Taipei, Taroko, or Alishan, but Kinmen offers something different. You can see, for example, the military tunnels, many of which were built during the Cold War era and are now open to visitors.

I recently wrote about four of the most interesting examples: The article covers Zhaishan Tunnel, Jiugong Tunnel, the Civil Defense Tunnel in Jincheng, and the Shishan Howitzer Front.
