Tips for reducing daycare sickness…?

The title says it all, really!
My first child spent pretty much his entire first year of daycare sick, and I basically paid just to keep his spot 😂
My second is about to start in September, when she’ll be 13 months old. She’s already been exposed to plenty thanks to her older sibling bringing home every germ imaginable, but I was wondering if anyone has found anything that genuinely helps reduce daycare illnesses?
I’m obviously not expecting a magical solution, but I’d love to hear about any preventative measures, routines or little things you think actually made a difference!

Safe essential oils for colds in a 13 month old?

Hello,
I know that many of the essential oils commonly recommended for coughs and colds aren’t safe to use around very young children in vaporised form (e.g. eucalyptus, thyme, etc.).
I was wondering whether there are any that are considered safe and might help a 13-month-old with congestion/coughing?
When she has a cold, I sometimes run a steamy shower and sit with her in the bathroom, and I was wondering whether there’s anything safe I could add to the steam.
Any thoughts or recommendations would be really appreciated. Thanks!

tazarotene 0.1%

Hi everyone,
I’ve been using tazarotene 0.1% for about a year now and, honestly, I can’t see any noticeable results. Admittedly, I have a toddler and a baby, so it’s entirely possible that any positive effects are being cancelled out by sheer exhaustion 😂
Has anyone had really good results with tazarotene? I’m wondering whether I should stick with it or switch to tretinoin. I’m 38.

How can I support my baby’s immune system?

My baby will be starting nursery in September (15months) and I’d like some advice on how to support her immune system with all the incoming illnesses! She’s already been sick a lot this year due to her big brother bringing germ back from school. She gotten lot of colds, congested noses and coughs so far but doesn’t seem prone to fever.
Thanks!

Immune system support for nursery

Hello,
My little girl will be starting nursery in September age 15 months and I’d like to support her immune system with this big transition. She has been sick quite a lot already as her older brother has brought home lots of germs from school already.
She’s particularly sensitive to mucus which makes her cough and wheeze. Never had a fever but her head gets very sweaty.
Any recommendations?
Thanks!
