Finally got around to replacing my old busted bushings and installing the OCC and PCV valve/plate. For anyone on the fence those bushings make a huge difference, the torque steer is less murderous and more like a playful tug. Still have an oil leak that looks like it is coming from the turbo return line... SMH
Might be a dumb question but this doesn't seem as straightforward as other gaskets. What's the deal here? Had the blue gaskets on and it leaked. I ordered some MAHLE ones and they are metal. Do I do a sandwich of paper metal paper? Just metal? Not finding a lot of info online and I'm losing daylight. Thanks
Got some more details on this car. It is NOT a factory GSL -SE but it has a bridge ported 13B with S5 T2 housings and S4 NA rotors. Also has the GSL-SE brake set up ( learned that after buying a set of OEM wheels, oh well. Currently equipped with a generic holley 600cfm single pumper. Lots to do between the fuel system and suspension.

I know the ticking is the hpfp but occasionally there is a clunk. I can't tell if it's new or I never noticed it.
So I decided to remove the dash completely to fix some wiring for the instrument cluster and remove all the AC components. Now I'm looking at it and thinking about removing all the wiring connectors I don't need to cut down on the cluster and pass on to other people. How would you go about it? Trace back the wires individually or pull out the whole harness, remove and reinstall? Also the stock ECU is still here and I have no clue why. Originally the car had a 12A but now it has a 13B with a holley.
It's 80 degrees but super humid so I get the air will be denser but it has been reading negative LTFT for a while now. The turbo was replaced about 1k miles ago along with the upstream O2. AFR readings have been a little all over the place at idle (14.2-15.2) but they seem to be in the correct range when driving. Also the new CW turbo has only hit 15.6 PSI WOT, I went looking for a boost leak but everything is tight. Hopefully a smoke test reveals something if there is.
