I have to decide on a major project next semester. I personally have an idea on VLMs but I feel like it is not feasible as it would require some really expensive hardware like LiDars and also some pretty soild computation power.
If you don't mind, plz share what you and your colleagues built for the final years.
Also the ceiling for a major project has increased like crazy after this recent AI boom. Nothing feels impressive anymore.
What are they going to say? "I don't consent!"? That would be ironic.
I open reddit and all I see is hatred and complaining. Maybe stop being so negative all the time. I mean most of those accounts probably get paid for those propaganda posts, so don't matter anyway
How do you overcome this hurdle. I have 2 prodect ideas. Both of them are unique and haven't found anything similar to them in their respective market. One is kinda niche is one is a pretty hot one rightnow. Which one should I choose?
So, I am a 6th semester computer engineering student and have tried almost a dozen different fields. I have projects on web development, app development, AI/ML, robotics and IoT, and so on, and I have taken prep classes for stuff like CCNA and AWS cloud practicenor. Not because I am desperate or anything, but because I just wanted to experience everything during my college years.
Now I feel like I am not specialised enough in any one topic. I did try to apply for a couple of internships, landed an interview in a startup for AI/ML intern, and have got the role. But it's unpaid, so I am confused about whether I should take it or not.
So, I am a final year Computer Engineering undergraduate student. And as the title suggests, I have tried my luck in literally field possible. Not because I was desperate, but because I wanted to try everything in my collage years. I have tried web development (Django and nextjs/react), app development (react native), robotics (I am a member of my college's Robotics Club), AI (I somehow got selected in a kinda prestigious AI fellowship program, where like only 100 get selected out about 2500+ applicants) and so on and on.
It was fun till now, but now I am so confused what to do with my career. I need to find an internship for next semester as it is compulsory for completion of my syllabus. But I am not confident in any one field. I can't even focus completely in one field. I want to choose robotics or AI but it seems like there is a cut throat completion for intern posts related to these 2 field. I am afraid 1 semester is not enough. I can't even focus on software development as 2 days of my week is taken by my AI fellowship tasks, classes and stuff like that. I also have to prepare lab sheets, and also complete my minor project for this semester. I barely even have time to study for my semester exams. I feel so lost man.
Can't they just ban all the mfs who can't even act civilised for nationality interest.
