What tools is someone allowed to use to be a digital Artist, vs a producer of 'AI Slop'
I have had people try to sell me digital marketing only to find out that they were just using AI. Luckily I didn't pay.
Anyway I'm hoping to do my book for KDP release and I'm considering covers. I'm just not sure what to do or who to trust

They all seem like con artists to me. But I wonder if anyone has actually used one. Or knows someone who has? My books do well by my estimation and have been steadily growing. Which I absolutely love. But some books seem to have an advantage that's clearly not based in quality.
I made this based off my Character Samuel. He's a Dogman and the Mate of my Werewolf Kim. I have to paint him more to finish him. I made and painted this statue.

So my Werewolves have three forms.
Human form
Wolf form
And I guess their battle or war whatever form. Which is the hybred form. I made those statutes to represent My main character Kim. A girl who was transformed into a werewolf. I'm a world were most werewolves are born not made.

This is a sculpture I made and painted based off my main character in my books.
I made them, painted them, and here we are. I don't draw pictures or make costumes. But I write books, make sculptures and paint them.
I am Currently working on developing this book with an editor. Which is exciting. Id love to read more comments on it if you have time. I'm happy to do a read for read sort of thing if you like.. in truth I frequently read the stuff the people who read my stuff write.
I keep hearing "read for reads don't work..." That's just not true. I don't know anything about the almighty algorithm. But I know that my stories get a lot more organic traction after any read for read I do.
