Hello all! I have lived in Fort Wayne since 2021 and am yet to experience most of the restaurants the city has to offer. As a foodie, I would love to try new places that are budget friendly because I really enjoy going out to dinner with friends and having good conversation over a nice meal. I would love to know what your favorite places to eat are, whether it be for pizza, Chinese food, sushi, good 'ol comfort food, etc.

There are a few restaurants and bars within Fort Wayne, Auburn, New Haven and Bluffton that hold trivia nights. I used to attend the trivia night at Summit City Brewerks and Trubble before they both closed. It’s a good time with a group especially if you’re into pop culture. I want to start this post off by thanking everyone who has joined. As of this morning the group is at 191 members! I have only had to ban one person so far for violating the community rules (he was being a creep with his direct messages). I'd say things are going very well so far! Of those I have had conversations with, I have only positive things to say. I was worried I would have to deal with more trolls, but 1/191 in a few weeks isn't bad at all!

I do wish more members would make posts. You are not obligated to post pictures of yourselves. Feel free to put out there what you are looking for in friends.

If you know of any upcoming events like trivia, bingo, concerts, stand-up comedy, or any other local entertainment, you can promote those here as well. Be yourself and don't be afraid to put yourself out there!

Since creating this subreddit I have met some nice people and had a few good conversations. I would love to meet some people who are "in the same boat" as I am. I am in my early 30s and single. There is nothing wrong with having friends who are married or in a relationship, however, I would LOVE to have some friends who are in their 30s and single like me. I want to point out that I have social anxiety and it takes me a while to feel comfortable enough to meet in person. Feel free to reach out if you are interested.
