An Attempt at a personal COA - Made on Drawshield

An Attempt at a personal COA - Made on Drawshield

Hey, y'all, this is my attempt at a personal Coat of Arms. I meant it to be representative of both my surname and some family history.

So, the bridge is from a descendant of mine who was an architect and built several bridges, and it's also made of stone, which is a sort of canting on my name, which in latin translates to "of stone". The fire is somewhat just a flair, as I thought a bridge over a river of fire would look cool, but my surname derives from an older biblical name meaning torches.

Let me know what y'all think! Any feedback is welcome and appreciated.

Blazon I used: argent, a bridge of one arch sable, a base rayonny barry wavy gules and gold.

What Are Some Examples of Cool Heraldry in Fiction?

Just curious, 'cause I'm really into heraldry and arms, so I was wondering what are some good books, tv shows, or movies, that incorporate heraldry in a cool, unique, or prominent way?

My first world. Made the continents, what can I add to improve?

My first world since trying inkarnate. I'm happy with the shape of the continents, but I'm unsure how I should populate and improve it. I tried putting down a bunch of forests and cliffs and stuff, but given the scale (this is the equivalent of a shot from space) it doesn't really make sense to me.

Any reccomendations?

A Couple of my first few designs (made on heraldicon)

Some early designs I made on Heraldicon for a fantasy world I'm developing. Any critique is welcome and appreciated!
