Hey all,

Just curious if theres any official word about three more? We've got Jeff, John and Glenn live albums..are 3 more official live compilations coming?

I threw all of them into a Playlist with a few songs from Kicking Television thrown in. Its 5 1/2 of glorious live Wilco. The song selection on these three albums is absolutely amazing.

Just saw them most recently in July in Columbus. I swear they just keep getting better. I need the new arrangement of kingpin available!

Re-watched thunderbolts* tonight and was wondering if they retcon her to being officially from Latveria for the movie and become Citizen V which she certainly has the "mentality" for, especially as there is a tie-in with doom in an official storyline and where she literally was Citizen V. Is she merely following someone else's commands up til now in the MCU. She seems to show zero fear of any consequences. If she knows doom is somehow coming, it makes sense. Even if she were jailed, she could cause an absolute ton of mayhem before he arrives, knowing she'll be freed.

Or is she just mainly being used as a cheesy meglomaniacal bad guy?

It may be unpopular to admit I basically stream all music these days, but I have a question. Does anyone here use the Tidal music service? On both the Amnesiac and Kid Amnesiac versions(just in case there was any kind of remix), at exactly 3:05 in the track, there is a weird but very obvious SQUEEK type noise.

I checked the official music video and it is definitely not there. I have neither the cd nor the vinyl, but I assume there is no way this wouldnt have been edited out if it was in the song during the mixing process.

I realize it was probably some transient or something that was introduced during conversion for the streaming process. I cant think of a single instance on any song by any artist that I've listened to had something like this. Ive had zero issues with the service other than this song.

If you use tidal can you confirm this? If there's no squeek for you, im gonna go crazy and delete/reinstall. For the record, I don't download the files. I stream only.

Does anyone else notice this, or perhaps, found another example in other music where something weird shows up for a brief moment?

One of my favorite meals is a simple fried egg ham and cheese sandwich. Personally I like mine over easy, just enough to get the slime off the yolk side.

My wife HATES any form of liquid yolk. So I always poke the yolk on hers and spread it out. Once I flip it, its all whites on one side, all yolk on the other. Ive gotten to the point where I can basically do this every time for her. Its not like its a cooking skill I can be proud off or anything, but is there a name for this specific preparation?

So a friend of mine is a VERY experienced sailor. 30+ years of sailing the great lakes. He recently went on a vacation to Charleston. He was with a group that had very little sailing experience that chartered a day sail. In his words, the captain was among the very worst cliche of a bad captain who told outlandish stories before they even made it 20 yards into the channel. So he preceded to play dumb and literally called every line a rope, every piece of gear a thingy. His wife was turning red trying not to laugh withing minutes, everyone else was clueless. After 4 hours they had a inconsistent winds and the captain couldn't jib to save his life. Finally he doused sails and started the engine. You can guess what happened.....yup, died. Mysteriously his vhf didnt seem to be working properly.

Suddenly the guy who was absolutely clueless about anything sailing related knew EVERYTHING needed sailing related to get them back safely to the marina, although they needed a few dingys to get them back to the slip.

Turns out the "captain" had just gained access to his trust fund, had exactly 4 hours of instruction and a million dollars worth of boat and was doing the charter as a favor to a bro.

Not naming names or even the marina, but I havent laughed so hard in years. Also, I grew up on lake superior, ive got maybe 200 hours total of sailing time and I still consider myself a total amateur. Im land-locked here but still have dreams so I lurk in this sub.

Not attempting to cause any drama here. As a kid I had a scanner radio and you could listen to police/first responder channels. My grandpa was the chief of a volunteer fire department in the 80s, so I listened often.

I cant even begin to imagine the insanity of north Charleston, if reports of 911 dispatch calls are real 😳😳😳

Its 2026 im guessing this has been turned off for decades for obvious reasons, foia makes things available after a certain amount of time so it will come out. Man I miss the late 70s and early 80s. Block parties were the last place youd find problems besides charred burgers and hotdogs.

I mean...its the somni tour so we of course expected the somni show.

Opened with Waves...amazing. Chimera started and HOLY SHIT it sounds like the whole metropole horn section is there. Afterwards Bobby performs space magic.

Then Mike gets on the mic and says hey, we're just going to do something different tonight. They go on to almost recreate the live at Royal Albert Hall show. Culcha Vulcha and Immigrance everywhere. It was absolutely GLORIOUS.

The guy who isn't really a fan of bass solos threw down a filthy, funky beast of a solo.

Jamison had our hearts nearly popping out of rhythm.

It was the best show (by any group or artist) ive ever been to!
