Wheel Experience

Hey, I’ve got sort of an interesting question and I’d like to hear some opinions from the community.

To start off. I’ve got a big order from Moza all lined up (R12, CRP2, H-pattern and sequential) moving up from an R3 bundle with a Logitech shifter. All that to say, I’m planning on having a brand new “experience” so to say. However, not pictured on my list is a new wheel, up until a bit ago I was planning on sticking with the ES. However… seeing cool stuff leads to thinking about cool stuff and now I’m considering throwing a wheel into the mix to further ensure that “new car” feel.

I’d like to know if people that have bought other wheels (nothing in specific, any wheels from the Moza lineup) have felt that it was “worth it” over the basic wheel. That would be worth it in terms of quality, price, and usefulness (the added switches and buttons and such) in that order. Again. I’m looking to really upgrade the experience of driving, so feeling nice and quality is a high priority for a new wheel.

I’d also love to hear any recommendations or advice you’d wanna throw my way. I drive a lot of GT/Rally. Not much Formula or trucking. So my main considerations for wheels would be the KS old and new and the CS old and new line of wheels. (Possibly considering the RS too).

If you have experience with owning multiple wheels, do you find yourself switching between them? Do you still find your purchase “worth it”?

Again, I really appreciate all the advice or feedback you decide to give this post. It may seem like a dumb question but I’d like to know if the “quality” and feel is there before dropping such money.

Thank you! Happy racing ❤️

So, I mainly race with the C8 GTE on Spa, mainly just doing race weekends with AI to get used to the sim. However I’ve constantly been getting drive through penalties at the end of the formation lap due to “speeding” however I was doing the process of putting my pit speed limiter on as to ensure I don’t speed. Then when the green lights show, I turn it off. Then after trial after trial. I just left the pit limiter on the down the whole back straight, through the bus stop and even after the green lights went off (keep in mind, staying under 37) and I still got a “drive through penalty for speeding” any idea why?
