Can you imagine how awful Mary’s life would become if she had married Mr Collins? She would never get rid of her mother!!

For me:

“Am I to be looked after by a Susan?!” - Mrs Bennet

it takes less than a minute after I’ve approved all transactions. I kind of get a dopamine hit when the confetti drops. is this overkill?

For years now, I put the 95 P&P on repeat in my house during the day and had the same hope for TOBS but… I can’t stand Mrs Bennet. I’m so disappointed in this character. Dismissive of Mary is one thing but the level of cruelty and contempt from her really ruins the whole show for me.

I hear good things about the actress and hope this doesn’t color my opinion of her other work. For now, though, this role is a turn off.

I love the other characters and performances.

If the Bennet girls didn’t have a governess and were raised, I’m guessing, by their parents, how could Lizzie and Jane be prepared to make the leap in society and run a great house?

How could Faith have survived when Claire held her dead body for hours before she was taken away?

American here. I have booked this date to binge The Other Bennett Sister. I’ve read the book four times. I’ve watched all the clips. Ive turned green with envy reading the comments. Im preparing meals in advance. I’m obsessed.

Has it been as well received in the UK as it appears?
