Anyone having major issues with this study? I answered all the questions and keep getting an invalid request for it.
For the slightly older people on this sub, how was support for transit in the United States pre 2010s (80s/90s/2000s) compared to now?
Were there active transit communities? What was advocacy like? Lots of the current American light rail systems were built in that time. Are people more supportive of transit now or back then?
TIL in 2006 the Bush administration proposed zeroing out funds to Amtrak
Anyone on the 5:50 Worcester line train from South Station to Worcester know what happened in more detail at Lansdowne?
I was on that train, we were stopped for 25 minutes at Lansdowne. Officially it was due to a medical emergency but on the train I heard there was an assault. An officer walked through my car and I saw them with a person outside. The train was very busy so I figured maybe someone else would know more.
Unlike Mary Peltola, James Talarico has not rejected Kamala Harris's endorsement despite Texas being more red than Alaska.
Am I the only one who thinks Mike Rogers is not very attractive?
Indiana's South Shore Line has to be the only commuter rail train in North America that is in 2 different time zones
Why does the DC area have so many bus systems? Would it be simpler for Metrobus to take over all of them?
Like you got Ride On in Montgomery County and Fairfax Connecter. Those counties also have DC metrobus service. I could see this being very confusing for users to have to track multiple agencies and it makes regional coordination harder. Plus some of the networks are free while metrobus isn't which could cause confusion for riders used to free buses when trying to take a metrobus somewhere else. I think metro should take over buses in Fairfax, PG, Montgomery, and Loudon counties. But I'm an outsider from Boston so I might be missing something.
Since when did the 28 become the MBTA's only 24/7 bus route (sort of)?
Actually Mississippi has runoff elections so if Pinkins plays spoiler he just would force CHS and Colon to a runoff
Episode 6 spoiler suggestion strategy
>! If Ben and Adam missed the flight to Myrtle Beach, I think they should have driven or taken the train from Newark to Connecticut to be in the state before Sam and Amy could get there to block them from getting it. I think they could have gotten there before them. !<
If Brown wins Ohio flipping the senate to 51-49, Conservatives should be critical of Trump's pick of Vance for VP
If Trump picks someone else that removes the flip opportunity in Ohio. This means either Iowa or Texas is needed for Democrats to flip the senate. If Ohio is the 51st seat, the GOP could lose hundreds of potential judicial appointments and potentially some SCOTUS appointments because Trump picked Vance opening his seat up. I feel like nobody is talking about this at all.
