Checking status tool

For weeks now I couldn’t figure out why after receiving my AOR I could not check my status online using the Canadian website tool.

So today I have finally figured out my issue with the website . I live in the uk but there is actually two options I believe. One is UK British subject ( this is what I have been selecting and failed ) and two England. How did I even miss this 😳

So I have now tried England and I’m straight into my application.

I thought I would share this incase it helps others or have I been having a brain drain for weeks 🤣

Ontario Birth Certificate

I would appreciate some advice on the certificate. Basically it’s huge !! It seems I have a bunch of other people certified on this big one page. It’s 1920 Ontario. Do I copy just the section of my G0 or the whole page somehow? The reason I’m asking is there are dates and signatures place top and bottom on the page not relevant to any one birth .

I have AOR but I have now managed to get this. In my explanation letter I had to put due to not being next of kin I can’t access this certificate. Fortunately I now have .

Thanks all

Nelson Halton

Hello

I’m wondering if anyone can help me. My family originally worked a farm in this area 1915-1927

I am trying to locate any lot maps of this area. As I don’t live in Canada I can’t access the library that holds such maps. Does anyone have a copy that they would share ?

I can give a lot more details if needed.

Many thanks 🙏

Information

Not my information but copied from Facebook Group. Thought might be useful. Here’s the post….

Hello,

I had a couple questions for IRCC so I spoke to them today. They gave me some valuable information that I had not thought about. If your application is returned for corrections, be sure to check that your application version matches the latest version on the IRCC website. If there is a newer version you must print that one and refill it out. If your signatures are beyond 90 days by the time you resubmit, you must reprint, resign and redate the application. Finally, I asked about submitting one set of lineage for more than one application, they require each application to stand on its own, as has been posted recently. However, she said that there are still three possibilities in that scenario. 1) They send back all applications for corrections. 2) They approve one application that has a complete set of documents with lineage and send back the others. 3) They approve all of them and send the AOR. She mentioned its not in IRCC's interest to send back and pay for shipping only to have to redo the review when it comes back, but they have to follow the guidelines. She said those guidelines are always being reviewed to determine the process and to try to maintain consistency across application reviews. Hope this is useful information.
