I know they tend to leave a lot of stuff in, but they must have a vault of bloopers never released! I would love to see some of those takes. Maybe for the break periods when they put compilations?

I get it, making a challenging boss is hard when there are builds that can one shot them. However, making invulnerability windows that are not visually obvious is worse in my opinion. The frustration of fighting bosses that suddenly decide to be invulnerable with no clear visuals around it makes you lose precious time and resources with them. Were you gathering stacks for a powerful attack? Wasted for no reason. And sometimes gathering those stacks can be tricky for normal people that don't follow the meta.

It's frustrating because there are a lot of those and not properly telegraphed. Show in the health bar when the invulnerability windows will happen. Show a bar over the bosses head to act as a timer for the invulnerability. Just something, anything.

I try to play with my own builds, which aren't always optimal, and I hate hate hate hate losing time wasting my most powerful attacks.

I installed recently the emulator and it runs incredibly well. I must have the DLC activated because I got the Eye of a Blood-Drunk hunter in the Hunter's Nightmare after defeating Vicar Amelia. However, the Amygdala doesn't grab me. Whenever I get close to the hand, it retracts and I can never be teleported.

Has this happened to other people? What would be the fix?

EDIT: Disabling the 60FPS and Resolution Patches did it. As mentioned by u/Lonewolf953 down below. This was causing the grabbing animation to reset before it happened, so if this happens to you, just disable any resolution/FPS mods.
