I'm not looking forward to SDE roles at the moment, but I guess monetary value is better in software roles.

I have 32xx mains rank. I filled cse first then ece in preference. And I wasn't alloted anything based on round 1 so i applied for round 2. Now should I change my preference?

I know cse is not possible. So keeping it as first preference wouldn't make a difference, right?
