Does anyone have any good laptop recommendations? I currently have a macbook air M2 but i understand that it isnt really suited for engineering
Id prefer if it isnt a gaming laptop, less than 16” and is portable, thanks!
Edit: budget is abt 2.5k, willing to stretch if theres a rly good deal for btr specs/quality
Hi all, i was just wondering how come certain halls dont have some IHG sports. For instance, all the halls will post their IHG team for each sport, but some halls are missing certain sports eg. Swimming
Could any hall exco help answer why? Is it because there are 0 people competing for swimming in the hall? Can 1 person be the sole representative for that sport for the hall?
Hi everyone, i was randomly revocated to ASA recently and i was previously a SVC SA (GE), i have had no recent pes status update since start of the year, was converted from SA(GE) to SVC SA (GE) after downpesing from A to C9 for injury
Does anyone know why this suddenly happened? Im quite close to ord as well so it makes no sense to suddenly revocate me and now i will have to go for the course which i may not even have enough runway to go
(im sure anyone who knows me will know who i am cos this is quite specific, but just curious to find out why this happened so suddenly)
Hi everyone incoming freshman to eee, i will be staying hall, preferably single with AC/ ensuite if possible, which hall will be good if im going to EEE?
I also wish to participate in hall sports, i have had experience in swimming and wish to pick up another sport eg. badminton
Another qn: wouldnt hall sports be unfair if all the varsity team players just go and smurf against less experienced ppl in the sport? Eg swimming, maybe in varsity u have a ex-national swimmer vs a average swimmer

hi everyone, i was rejected from NUS recently and i was wanting to appeal as my gpa is on the 10th percentile and i have really good cocurriculars that would suit the degree and NUS
however i was overseas and completely missed out the appeal period as i didnt know that it was so soon

Hi, i’m an incoming student to NTU EEE this year and i actually received an invite to the induction fiesta, but did not go as i saw that it was almost 12 hours long starting from 830am all the way at pulau NTU, i just dismissed it as some event that was like a skippable cutscene
But now im seeing the EEE instagram today and it seems like an orientation kind of thing, am i cooked for not going, cos i thought actual orientation would start in july
Can anyone from eee or the induction team tell me whether i missed out and is this an orientation? Im scared i wouldnt know anyone when i actually matriculate in aug
