Passed in 85!

I’ve been making a lot of annoying posts on here regarding questions about NCLEX and Pearson vue trick. So I’m going to share all my experiences with all of you to hopefully calm some anxiety.

The test was not as bad as I thought! Try not to read too many horror stories online! It is easier than most nursing exams when I was in nursing school. The questions are vague, but if you relax and don’t read into it too much, you will be fine! 🩷

To study I used UWORLD and Mark K Lecture 12! Make sure you listen to Lecture 12!!!! It helps so much when you get to a question where you have NO IDEA. I did around 85-100 questions a day for about 3 1/2 weeks :)

The Pearson Vue trick worked for me. I did it 12ish hours after finishing. I got the “good pop up” and I found out I passed this morning! 🩷

If anyone has any questions let me know, I’d love to help because so many of you on here helped me so much!!

Pearson Vue Trick

I know this is annoying and everyone asks but I’m just wondering - does the Pearson Vue trick work? I wrote on Friday at 1pm and I got the email right after that I completed the exam. I started to spiral so 12 hours later I did the Pearson Vue trick. I got the “good pop up” and within a couple hours my card was refunded. Does this mean I passed? Does the trick still work? The wait is killing me.

Shut off at 85 questions

I wrote my nclex today and it shut off in 85 questions. I had a lot of SATA, case studies, maternity and cardiac. I felt okay about some questions but a lot seemed hard and I feel like I may have just made some stupid mistakes from stress/anxiety. :(

Is it more common to pass in 85 than fail? I’ve heard that to fail in 85 you’d have to be doing fairly bad and I don’t think I did THAT bad but now I’m overthinking it:(

What is NCLEX really like?

I’m so nervous. I graduated from my nursing program end of May! I’ve been studying pretty well everyday since June 7th. I test on June 25th. My most recent practice tests are in the high 70s. Most recent CAT exam taken a few days ago put me in the 93rd percentile with a 68%. I’ve done 1100 questions in the qbank so far, with plans to do quite a few more before my start date. So far I have a 68% average on the qbank with 38% of it completed. I haven’t listened to Mark K lectures, but I did buy this study program from this girl on Etsy for the NCLEX. I tried listening to Mark K but felt it was difficult and I wasn’t really retaining anything. I feel good about where I’m at and then I get a few questions that make me realize I’m weak still in some areas and I panic. I’m just wondering what the NCLEX is really like. I hear mixed reviews, some say it’s easier than UWorld. Others say it’s way worse and nothing could prepare you for this test. I really hope to pass on the first try. Could anyone give me some advice on what to expect?

Thank you so much!
