First costum, 😬 make it better

Hey,

I started an LPS costum, but it looks horrible. 😑

I used primer and acrylic with water as some advice said. But that not what I expected.

So how do you manage to get a perfect color? You know... almost like the plastique isn't paint.✨️ I've seen some really amazing result from the community.

Thanks for your advice! 💗

Life as a person with autism isn't worth living

That's too hard, especially since I'm in an autistic burnout for months...

I go out of my bedroom for 30 minutes, and I'm already overwhelmed.

I can't handle light or people.

I can't do anything. I'm stuck in the dark, waiting for I don't even know what.

This is not a life.

I'm at my parents' house, and I can't work or do outside activities. Cleaning my bedroom is already too much.

It's been months, and my regression is really bad.

I do everything I can to feel better: I rest, take care of myself, and even accept medication. I have a supportive family.

But even with everything going right, my life is hell.

And I will be fucking autistic all my life! That's a hell

Hospital is hell for autism

I'm autistic, and I recently went to the hospital. It was hell. I had several meltdowns despite the accommodations (ear plugs, glasses, and a private bedroom).

Now i'm home, and i'm completely shut down for days.

But my health problems will require me to go back for short periods of time several time (like one night).

When I speak about my autism to professional, they just/have a surface/little knowledge about it but I'm bad at expressing and explaining properly.

Also, people who take care of me change all the time, so i need to explain again. I can't sleep. My anxiety is terrible. I'm terribly rigid about food and can't have what I need.

How can I survive that over and over again?

I'll go crazy!

How do you manage?

Do General Anesthesia have different effect because of austim ???

I'm looking for others' experiences to see if any of you can relate.

I recently received light anesthesia when I dislocated my arm, but it seemed to make the doctor's job more difficult. I had a big meltdown while still almost no conscious (i wake up in a neltdown). It wasn't because of the pain; it was just my inner feelings coming out.

They had no choice but to put me under deep general anesthesia.

I feel like it stripped away my defenses and inhibitions.

I’m starting to wonder if it would be better to forgo anesthesia so I can control myself during the procedure.

I really have the impression to not have a normal reaction to anesthesia because it not the 1time that it happen ...

Please share any informations!

Is it me or a commun experience?

Can you be level 1 autism and have helper dog ?

Am I legitimate to ask for an assistance dog?

I wonder if it would be possible to make my life easier. But, then again, I'm just level one, so maybe it's only for level two or three autistic people.

I actually can't work, and going outside is hard and often pushes me into a shutdown. It would help me to go to the grocery store and the doctor's office, and maybe help me with a middle-sized task.

What is your opinion and experience?

Eye contact is not linked to autism.

Yesterday, I had an assessment with my therapist to answer questions for an autism diagnosis (level 1).

Since I started opening up, I have had difficulty making eye contact in certain situations, such as when I'm stressed or when I need to focus on a complex topic.

However, my therapist told me that new studies about eye contact show that it is no longer a criterion for autism.

So I'm confused. Maybe I was influenced by what I read about autism and developed this behavior. However, I really have the impression that it disturbs me, and I can't think complexe things when I do eye contact.

I would love to hear about your experiences.

Also, if someone could explain why my therapist said that, I would appreciate it. I feel like an impostor now.
