If your book or book series got turned into a visual piece of media, what kind would you prefer?

I.e. movie/movie series, TV series, animation…what would best fit your work? I’m currently writing a mystery book series, and I think a series of movies would work best for me! I think a TV show would mess with the flow of the storyline and wouldn’t be as epic.

I was considering adding a playlist to the beginning of my novel because I've seen this done before in published books. What are your opinions? Does it take away from the ambiance or add to it?

Which version of Four Out Of Five has the best bridge, the LP version, the live version, or the Electric Lady Studios version?

Personally, I like the ELS version! I’ve grown so accustomed to it that I actually prefer it to the original 😭

Advice on increasing engagement on longfic?

Hey folks, I have a longfic that I’m currently working on. It’s going to have around 30 chapters, about the average length of a novel. It’s rated T, character-driven, and I‘be been planning and working on it for a few months. I just posted chapter six, and the engagement has been very low. Maybe it’s because I haven’t updated in a month? Or it’s something that people don’t enjoy? I’m confused. I‘m not writing for the hits or the kudos, I’ve really enjoyed researching and writing this fic, and I started it before I even had my AO3 invitation accepted. I wasn’t planning on posting it, but it just worked out. I also have a couple regular reader who haven’t said anything about not enjoying it.

Overall, any advice on increasing engagement so more people have access to my hard work? Thanks!
