I’m looking for a story where Regina tries to go back in time I’m not sure if it’s to save the town or save Emma or Henry or stop Zelena or to fix her happy ending but Regina ends up back in time I think to season 1 but I’m not positive but she thinks she’s making all these changes and proving herself and breaking the curse and getting close to Henry again and getting along with Emma but it turns out in the real world she’s in a coma

The next part I’m not sure of it Emma goes into her coma dream or through magic starts getting new memories based on what Regina thinks she’s doing or if they’re able to see Regina’s dreams with magic or if Regina wakes up and tells them what she thinks happened

Either way Regina has to figure out what was really happening and sort out her new memories and stuff but it turns out Regina thought she was dating Emma or that Emma had feelings for her in the coma or alternate world and doesn’t know what to do about it because she thinks the real version of Emma hates her

Anyone know the story or author or a link? I’d love to read it again

I know soaps have some universal/standard stories they all do and also can get inspired by each other and do similar stories but I thought it might be fun to see some fan specific ideas/examples

So what’s a storyline another soap has done (doesn’t need to be current or recently but at any time) that you think Bold could do well/would be interesting to see Bold have a go at?

And the flip side, are there any stories or specific details of stories Bold has done that you think would could be interesting for another show to do?

Ok I know Hope & Liam & Beth aren’t in “the cabin” anymore but “moving van at Brooke’s guest bedroom” didn’t have the same ring to it lol

I know it might not happened due to budget or set issues even though it’s past time and would make sense in the story for Hope Liam & Beth to get their own place but assuming this story leads to Hope Liam & Beth officially moving out of Brooke’s house/property how do you think it would happen?

So the options are:

1 Brooke kicks them out in a fit as punishment (I see this going 2 ways, either she instantly regrets it but Hope is hurt or just enjoys having her own place OR Brooke stubbornly (wrongly) thinks being kicked out will make Hope miss her or ask to come back or apologise)

2 Hope chooses to leave but it’s a plan ahead of time not a hasty reaction mid argument & she tells Brooke ahead of time

3 They leave but do it secretly & Brooke comes home to their room/quarters fully empty & is yet again blindsided & will probably claim Hope abandoned her or betrayed her again

4 They won’t leave (at first I thought this was the worst option but now I’ve imagined how funny an awkward family breakfast post reveal could be so I kind of want to see it at least a little bit lol)

Also assuming they do move do you think they’d move in with Katie & Bill or get their own place? & would we see it on screen or just be told about it?

Pretty much the title & other random wonderings about soap baby names

I know Bridget was named because it’s Brooke & Ridge together and she was thought to be Ridge’s at first so surely if RJ was a girl she’d have used Destiny

Funny but has meaning which Brooke (& soaps) like, eg naming Hope because she hoped things would get better going forward from her birth, a literal Hope For The Future long before the fashion line ever existed

I remember when Hope & Thomas were together some fans were wondering if she was going to be pregnant and were guessing fun baby names that might be used like Belle for the William/Bradley and their family or named after a place in Italy like Venice or Roman or Florence because they’d just had the location shoots/story or would they use the name Phoebe

Like how soap characters are always named after maiden names (Bridget’s son Logan, Douglas for Stephanie’s maiden name but also that seems common on soaps, I used to think it was a common USA thing but maybe I just got that from soaps lol) or there’s always a Jr or when shows honour someone important BTS and fans know, I’ve heard Kelly was named to honour KKL’s impact on the show but I’m not sure how true that is

And when Steffy had adopted ‘Phoebe’ it was nice but probably accidental that her kids followed the naming pattern her parents had with (I’m not sure if she officially named the child she lost with Liam Aspen or if that was a fan given name? But if that is the name that also fits, Thomas was named for St Thomas a place with importance to Ridge & Taylor, I think Aspen specifically was important to Steffy & Liam) then a child named after a mother in law/grandmother Steffy for Stephanie & Kelly was Liam’s mum & Hayes for Taylor (although I learned Taylor’s original maiden name was Hamilton I think Hayes is a nicer sounding name so i’m fine with the retcon) then she had a Phoebe (for a short amount of time)

Just wondering if anyone had any soap baby name thoughts or stories, doesn’t have to only be about bold, some of my cousins were named from hearing names on soaps (I won’t say named after the characters because that’s a lot of drama to put on a baby lol)

I can’t post a photo but I wanted to share this funny moment anyway

I was watching a video of out there baby names and one of the posts said someone’s sister had a baby they named “Forever” and the father of the baby cheated and got another girl pregnant at the same time or right after and that baby was called “Always”

I sent the screenshot to my sisters basically saying the title of this post that the parents of these interestingly named kids must have been fans of the show and joking the next baby in that situation would probably be called Naley

Plus the situation described seems like the dad of the two kids is a Dan type haha

Talking about the dream world of this episode in another post on here got me thinking about the idea of the dream world more broadly

It Inthink it tries to or should should be answering the question of “how does being raised by Dan or not raised by Dan change Lucas or Nathan” because I think that’s really interesting to think about but would take more exploring than one episode so I see why it couldn’t really be explored in the dream/alternate world episode so the episode dream world premise is “what happens if Lucas & Nathan’s roles are swapped and retell the pilot”

And it’s not that I didn’t like the episode & I thought it was fun (some things you have to overlook like Deb staying in Dan & Karen’s hometown to raise Nathan) but it was fun but I’m curious about 3 main things:

1 how would the episode have been different if the girls had swapped roles/personalities too? It’s a very basic look at the idea of “what if Lucas was in Season 1 Nathan’s role and Nathan was in season 1 Lucas’ role” instead of also flipping the girls roles around slightly eg dream world Lucas be dating Haley or Brooke and Peyton be Nathan’s best friend for example, I think it would have been interesting to see some other differences shown in the core five’s interactions

2 I think it could have been interesting if we somehow also saw Lucas’ point of view of how different his life would have been if he was raised by Dan and how he thinks that would have changed things because the dream world was Nathan’s ideas but Lucas surely growing up seeing Dan provide for Nathan he must have occasionally thought about how his life would be different and could also see that he’d have different values and priorities if he was raised differently so I wonder what his version of that world’s premise would be

3 or would it have been interesting if we’d been able to see either brother imagine how their lives would be different if they’d been raised together, eg maybe Dan took custody of a Lucas from Karen since he had more money? Or just thought about how they’d have interacted as kids and then as teens if Lucas spent every other weekend at Dan & Deb’s house?

Pretty much the title, who’s your favourite soap mum? Or you can be more specific and say who’s your favourite soap mother daughter and mother son relationships?
