Found a nice cheap rent stabilized apartment in this area. Anyone have any intel on this area? It was really loud because of the construction on 61st st MTA so i’m a little worried about that. Wondering if anyone knows how long that construction will go for and if they also work into the night?
I need help deciding which program to go into because I got accepted into two teaching residency programs for different master programs, one with NYC teaching fellows and another with a charter school.
I was curious which I should do… my goal is to eventually move back to California and teach elementary school.
The program I am in for NYCTF is science immersion grades 5-9 for and they pay a 70k salary while the charter school residency program will be a Masters in General Education & Special Education with a 50k Salary.
