Blessed to live in a place where these ancient relics act as trailmarkers

These beehive burners are so awesome but getting rarer and rarer. Lucky to be able to find some out in the wilderness even still. I just put a vid out on my trail out to this spot. Il leave the link in comments.

How do we feel about direct from manufacturer?

Looking to upgrade to something with a little larger of a sleeping platform and easier to pack away. Looking into hard shells, wondering what people think about going directly to a Chinese manufacturer to purchase without the domestic flipper markup. Curious what others experiences have been. Pfa, thanks so much.

I will likely be called in on an offer for a job at a western CN yard as a loco electrician. I come from a background in automotive, ive got my red seal and my specialty is electrical and data diagnostics. Ive got no doubt il be good at the job. Curious about prospects of moving up or around down the line and what the pay and lifestyle is like. Looks like id start around 36/hr which is comparable to auto techs in my region. In reality im an art guy and all the trades work ive been in just pays for the equipment i need for my art stuff. Im not a soft guy by any means but i think shop vibe and culture is important and it blows to work with people that hate their job or their life. I know this comes hand in hand with trades environments but im curious what you all think about this environment. Thanks!

Im looking for a weathersealed utility lens for my s1rii. I shoot 80/20 video but i shoot alot of remote stuff where weather is very hit or miss. For shoots i plan out i plan on looking at cine lenses but for my everyday kit i just want something with some dexterity but also really nice image quality. Would i be losing out on anything by going with this lens over the 2nd gen sigma equivalent or the s pro 24-70. Just looking for some subjective vibes or recommendations on a lens ive maybe not even considered yet. Pfa
