I‘m probably in the minority but I would love it if someone made this. Even without a repped movement.

I‘d like to build a 1675. I know I could get most parts on rafflesdials but I also know I could do better. Could anyone chip in and suggest which parts should be sourced from other places? I’d much appreciate any feedback.

Fun, sporty and maybe a bit edgy or just sacrilegious?

Don’t know where I saw this first but probably a decade ago I found this combo and it just never let me go. Y‘all got other combos you like?

I‘m the winner of this giveaway. Thanks again to Adu u/AJ_Trend_Snkrs I live in Germany and postage only took 10 days. The box was sent from inside Germany so I never had to worry about customs and I’m very happy about that.
The watch was free but I will try to be objective about this. In the spirit of this, I will start with the negatives:
The bracelet has some squeak. This should go away by itself over time but the gen doesn’t have this. The squiggly Rolex engraving on the inside of the clasp isn’t as smooth to the touch as gen. The crown has some play when setting the time. There were a million stickers to remove. Maybe part of the fun but kind of tedious.

The neutrals: the 3 polished inner links are a little sharp on the outside, though I vaguely recall this being the case with the gen. AR coating only on underside. Don’t remember gen spec for this. Brushing on outer links is slightly finer than on gen (hard to tell without direct comparison)

The positives: The rest is excellent and the pictures don’t do it justice. Rehaut engraving is accurate and perfectly aligned (not always the case with gen). Bezel fluting is sharp. Cyclops magnifies correctly (even if the picture don’t all seem like it). Laser-etched crown in crystal is perfect (sorry for the bad shot. It was hard to get it to show up at all). Dial printing matches gen as far as I can tell (I’ve compared it to many pictures). The Roman numerals have the appropriate amount of ink fill. Date font is excellent and centred. Gap between end links and lugs is tight. Roughly 15 seconds off after a week of occasional wearing. Date clicks over at 17 seconds(!) past midnight with a very satisfying click. You’d be happy to get this in a gen (up to 5 minutes after midnight is within spec). This is a feature of the cloned 3235 movement which I will review separately (waiting on caseback removal tool)

Over all I’m super excited to be the new owner of this rep. In youth parlance: QF cooked. It really is a stunner and even under close inspection it holds up well. My wrist ist 6 1/2“ or 16.5cm and the watch doesn‘t seem as big as I thought it would. Probably a super rep though I don’t consider myself expert enough to be certain.
