Hello! Another help me pick a TV thread!

This is for my main living area where we mostly watch sports/streaming/and will occasionally play the switch 2. There is a patio door to the side of the TV so there is some sunlight during the day.

What TVs would you recommend between 65" to 75" for under $850?

I was leaning TCL QM6K or QM6K pro from what I've read, but have seen some people say it doesn't do great with sports.

I'm upgrading from an older 50" Westinghouse Roku TV, so anything should be a huge upgrade!

Got the day off tomorrow and going to grab a Switch 2 before the price increase.

My brother let me borrow his Donkey Kong Bananza copy and I plan to eventually get mario kart world.

Should I grab the Costco bundle with the extra storage and 12 months of NSO (i do plan to play some retro games) or the mario kart world bundle?

What grips/cases/screen protectors do most people recommend?

I have quite the backlog of switch 1 games I'm looking forward to tackling! Super excited to pick this up tomorrow.

As the title says, handhelds have really saved gaming for me!

I (32M) have been primarily a PC gamer playing multiplayer games for the last 15+ years, but that really slowed down when my kid was born 2 years ago. I sparingly played at night when she went to sleep, but was usually too tired to start anything up.

About a year ago, I picked up my OG switch again and started playing on the couch while my wife watched her shows and was hooked again. In February of this year I bought a used ROG Ally Z1E and have been tackling my backlog of steam games and it's been incredible. Its a win win in our house because I still get to spend time with my wife while she watches her shows and I get some gaming in. I'll occasionally go play on my PC when she goes to bed but usually will just stay on the couch and keep playing.

I've already beaten 12 games this year (and a few roguelikes) and I don't think I've beaten that many games in the past 5 years..

I plan to get a Switch 2 this week before the price increase and might eventually get a retro handheld like an anbernic to play some games i missed (such as fire emblem/some of the Pokémon games i missed) but also might just emulate that on the ROG Ally.

Just wanted to share my experience of how handhelds have made gaming more accessible for a working dad!

What docks do you recommend to connect it to a tv?

I have a dbrand killswitch case on so would prefer a dock that works with that!

My older brother and I were planning to surprise my younger brother for his 30th with a game night and play some Gamecube games like when we were kids!

None of us have a Gamecube or Wii so my best bet is emulating, but I've never done it before!

I have an OG ROG Ally Z1E running bazzite so I think thats my best option, but no idea where to start. How do I emulate gamecube games on this?

Would i be able to use game cube controllers and if so, what connector do I need? Should I get OG GC controllers or some off brand ones or Bluetooth?

Appreciate any help, advice!

Never played a dragon quest game or really any other JRPG but love the fire emblem series (which i know is a bit different as a SRPG/TRPG).

Saw DQ 1&2/3 HD 2D Remakes were on sale on Amazon for the switch and thought about grabbing them.

Are these the best ones to start with?

Recently upgraded my irons from the tour edge hot launch 3s that I got fitted for when I was starting out to ZXI5s that i absolutely love.

I currently use a Ping G410 for my driver and I'm ready to upgrade. I tend to hit it super high and spinny (4k+) so really looking to lower that to gain a bit of distance. I assume i am hitting down on it so a new driver wont fix that but hoping it can help me out as I continue to work on my swing.

I did a driver fitting and they put me in a quantum TD max head at 9° loft with a fuji Ventus black/charcoal 6 extra stiff shaft. I really liked it during the fitting and was hitting it pretty well, but not sure I want to drop another $700 on a driver after I just got the irons.

Any recommendations on used/budget drivers that can help lower spin?
