Who else got their STH bag today?

Who else got their STH bag today?

The quality is fantastic. Reminds me of the really nice blanket they sent out a couple of years ago.

EDIT: I’m not trying to show off I promise I just really like these! I bet if they sell these $70 a pop it would do well.

Just coming here to wish Spirit peace and quiet during this mid-season break

In light of all the turmoil today, I’m lighting a candle so Spirit doesn’t make any sudden changes to our amazing lineup. Maybe a 10 so we can rotate Leicy out but that’s it.

Lucia is getting married, Leicy and Rebe are on vacay, Hal is doing redneck shit, and Trin is supporting her bf while he win things. Not the right time for trades or departures.

(Also I’m not a creep I promise, I just follow them all on insta)

USWNT v Spain Oct 10 in DC

I saw an alert on Facebook that said “US Soccer created an event you might want to attend.”

I checked the USWNT schedule and I don’t think this has been announced, and the Ticketmaster link doesn’t work. Do we think this was accidentally leaked?

Timing seems appropriate during the fall international window aka weird NWSL playoff gap.

Are we all Utah Royals fans now?

I’ll always root for Spirit but Utah is playing beautiful football right now and I’m so happy that they’re making it up the table every week. Could their run be partly due to strength of schedule? Maybe…but they’re handily beating teams they’re supposed to beat and that will get them to postseason. Besides, xG difference suggests that they really are one of the better teams in the league right now.

EDIT: lol apparently the answer is a resounding no! And good points have been raised about their very easy run of games which is inflating their win rate and xG data. Their game against Portland before the international break would be interesting because it’s really the first time they’re playing a “good” team (and good in quotations in case people object) this season aside from their draw against Spirit back when Spirit still had major ish to sort out.

>Sources have indicated that City were not able to match terms offered by rival teams. Chelsea, reportedly ready to pay Shaw £1m a year, will be the favourites to sign the 29-year-old, who is understood to have attracted interest from many of the world’s biggest clubs, including Barcelona and several NWSL teams. The cash-rich WSL club London City Lionesses are also keen.

Which NWSL team (1) needs a striker and (2) can match Shaw's $1.4m/yr offer from Chelsea? Given Rodman and Macario's record-breaking contracts and the HIP rule, there might be room for teams to go for Shaw if they're willing to spend.

Bay FC needs a striker and might be willing to splash out for the world's best. KC can move Ally Sentnor on for Shaw (yes I know the offense is not their biggest problem atm, but that would be insane to have Chawinga, Cooper, and Bethune working with Shaw). Maybe Gotham now that Esther has slowed down a bit?
