HELP my auto insurance just over doubled
after 30 yrs driving a my fault auto accident. VERY minor without any injuries. I have been driving for 30 years . Pleasure only. Accident was april 2026 . only 1 speeding ticket 8 yrs ago . I drive a 2014 jetts
Original rates basic coverage $ 169.00 per month Now $ 396 per month WTF.
I expected an increase but not a 230 % increase
So where do I start looking for cheaper insurance ? And possibly a very BAM ( bare ass minium )

Whats up with the Focus Trannys ?
I am looking for a car for my daughter. ( Used ) There are a few 2017 2018 Ford focus kicking around. They fit the bill BUT I have been reading the auto transmission are TRASH . One in MINT shape here with 141,000 km. Is this a problem with most Focus at any mileage / Random ? Lets face it most cars have problems . So my question AVOID or Buy ?

My email was hacked ( for e transfers )
Hello every one. Here is a new one for me I was to receive a e transfer for a friend. He notified me the e mail address was correct but the name was not mine ???? The address and name have been good for many years ( shaw.ca ) Shaw does not support e-mail@shaw.ca any more .Good thing he noticed. Another attempt was made after re starting computer . Changed password same results. I notified my bank and they froze my account. So what happens when i receive an e transfer it goes to my email address but is auto deposit on to my e mail address but to my email with another name . I have a NEW email address now and no problems e-mail@gmail.com All email and e transfer are working ok now with my new address Any idea what happened and what I can do ?? thanks in advanced

Joint Tenancy with Right of Survivor ship questions
Hello every one. I would like to add my daughter to my Bank Account. Mainly to look after this in case some day I lose it or pass away. I am NOT young . She is also the Executor of my Estate .There is NO real estate involved . Just My bank and savings account car and personal belongings . She lives in BC and I live in Calgary. Is there any thing I should know or be aware off because of Different provinces ?
