Is SWE for me?

(22m) I’ve been trying to figure out what I should major in soon and thought of CS and wanting to be a SWE. Before choosing it and regretting it, I started python for beginners in my spare time. I can barely manage over an hour into it and am forcing myself to learn it as much as I can. Should I push through or is it not for me? (Never been a school guy but trying to get my life sorted)

Any ways to lighten my desktop?

My setup area is pretty dark. I do have Govee lights above the monitors but they don’t really light the area. It only lightens up the top which is pointless.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Careers in entertainment

(22M) Always loved movies and shows and overall media, and want to deeply be involved in the industry. Not trying to be a director or anything, just want to be in that world.
What careers could actually pay pretty well? (Other than Hollywood actors)

BA vs BSc?

(22M) I’m planning to start my bachelors for hoping to become a Software engineer. I am pretty weak at math and the process in university is kinda intimidating. Would the chances still be high to get a relatively high salary pay with a Bachelor of Arts In computing science instead of bachelor of computer science? Would it take an effect at all?

Starting an ecom business

I’m 22 and been looking into starting an online e-commerce business, but honestly, I'm overwhelmed by how much information is out there. Theres a lot of gurus online that I have watched already and I don’t want to waste my time anymore watching their vids and actually want to get started and learn.

For those of you who have actually built a successful e-commerce business, and have kept a sustainable one. Where would you start if you were beginning from scratch today with limited experience and a modest budget of like $1k?
I have a decent amount of information for product research, marketing, website building, sales.
I'd appreciate any advice, lessons you wish you knew earlier, or resources that helped you get started.

Careers that can lead to good money

I grew up playing basketball all my life hoping to make a career with It. Didn’t work out and that’s ok . 22 years old now I’ve been day trading and doing content creation for about 13 months. I’ve never been the kid to be smart on paper but always wanted to just make good money. That’s mainly what I focused on. (Especially if I could try to get there with my passions) What paths could I look into to make good money. Whether that’s long term or short term (not likely)

Trying to get my life together?

I’m 22 and currently have no post - grad education. For the people who didn’t go to University or college, what do you do now?
I’ve been just trying to get my life together so just looking for career options.
(Likely will see trades recommended. Still a good option even if I’m prone to arthritis?)

Lost in finding my path

Just turned 22 and honestly feeling stuck and anxious about the future. Still living with my mother.
Grew up playing basketball, was never the "smart kid on paper" in school but was passionate and dedicated and even went to prep for it. Didn't work out, and I've made peace with that.

Around 20 I got into day trading and content creation. Spent a year on TikTok, had 1000+ posts and had a few videos hit millions of views, 100’00’s+. Still not one dime came has been made. But I've completely lost my creative spark, especially since my content was geared toward the younger/brainrot humor crowd and I just can't keep up with it anymore.

Now I'm still day trading full time every morning around 6am and genuinely feel like something is starting to click there. (Knock on wood). But apart from the gym, the rest of my day is wide open and need to get my life moving as it feels very shallow and looking for paths to gain skills. (financially hopefully) just feel tired honestly with my life.

I am tired

Just turned 22 couple months ago and I feel drained and tired. I never went to college or university. In high school I played ball hoping and working towards that it would pay the bills eventually as I get older as it was my passion. Had an extra year of school just for that so I guess I was kinda decent at it but that ended quick. Currently still living with my single mother and been trading for about a year now. At least 1k has been invested throughout my trading process but still pushing towards profitability still to this day. I’ve literally dropped all my friends for this and feel like very different from the overall crowd of people. Maybe I’m an overthinker but I just feel sad and depressed. Feel like I should do more during my days but yet when I do I feel tired and lonely and clueless. I’ve always wanted to just be as successful as I can be and still strive for it for my mother and myself but feel like I’m not doing enough and honestly lost in it all. Everyday feels the exact same and I just feel negative every morning with such high hopes as a kid around this age.
