DRG vs. SCS, please help

hi all! wondering what had been more successful for people with very peripheral, focal, and persistent chronic foot pain.

i experience a crushing sensation in my right foot, like my bone is made of rock. Diagnosed with CRPS Type 2, and my pain is getting worse and worse everyday. i can’t walk on it i am getting mixed information on which one is better for my condition. i’m worried because i’m already on track for the trial SCS surgery, and it seems (?) like DRG surgeons are much more rare.

i am so so scared. any advice or experiences using either device would be so helpful!! 🫶🏻🫶🏻

TOENAIL PRODUCTS for super messed up CRPS feet?

Hi all! I have extremely funny-looking toenails in both of my CRPS feet; they are very short, thick, and brittle. I try to take really good care of my feet, but my toenails refuse to change appearance. Any products you recommend, like a cuticle oil? I also bought some press-on toenails to make them look cute, but I want them to look healthier. Thanks!

(Unfortunately, I cannot get a pedicure because it is way too painful, and my feet look really messed up.)

small edit: i was told by my doctor and derm that this is just a side effect of CRPS and i don’t have a fungal problem if that helps

i’m getting a SCS and i’m scared

hi all!! i experience extreme pain in my right foot, particularly a bone crushing sensation and an overall feeling of pressure in the ball of my foot and my heel.

i am in the process of getting the spinal cord stimulator trial surgery, and i am really between two stimulators: boston scientific and nuervo. i am going to thoroughly investigate both surgeons, but currently they both seem equally as competent, making the decision hard.

for people with pain similar to mine and/or experiencing pain in their foot/lower extremities, could you please drop your experiences with these stimulators? and if you have any helpful tips or tricks, ANYTHING related to this process i would love to hear it. bless you all, and thank you🩷

Hobby ideas for chronic pain / disability? looking for low-effort, customizable crafts I can turn into gifts

hi all! such a weird ask, but i thought this might be the right community for finding quirky hobby niches.

for context, i’m currently physically disabled and in a lot of pain, so i mostly have to shop online or do pickup since i can’t really walk around much. i’m really just looking for a pleasant distraction while not feeling great, so that’s the main priority here.

but here are my criteria:

1.) needs to be a hobby that is highly customizable and easy to follow/learn step-by-step (like perler beads being basically pixel art, or butter sculpting, or other simple guided crafts)

2.) ideally something that results in a functional or functional/decorative gift i can give to loved ones (i’m way more motivated when it’s something for someone i care about)

3.) relatively cheap and low effort in terms of setup / moving parts

thank you in advance!! it would genuinely mean a lot to find some little pockets of joy right now

SINGLE CROTCHET RECTANGLE WARRIOR - IN SEARCH OF REALLY EASY IDEAS

Hello all! I am really an absolute beginner crocheter, and I get overwhelmed really, really easily.

I only know how to do a single stitch right now, and everything else seems crazy hard.

I can make a damn good single crochet rectangle, and was wondering what the absolute easiest thing(s) I can make besides a scarf? Like, I am talking the bare bones basic stuff.

I don't even know how to sew two crochet pieces together yet, but I think I can figure it out! Thanks in advance!

Hi all! I am a broke 21-year-old who is aspiring to achieve a makeup look like the ones in the photos above. I have a mild-moderate case of hormonal acne that tends to flare up around my lower face and chin. I am also very pale and cool-toned, if that helps.

While I know the images aren't consistent, here's what I want to achieve:

  1. an even, natural, hydrated-looking base. I do not love heavy foundation, but I would like a little something to cover my redness. I currently use L'Oreal Paris True Match Hyaluronic Tinted Serum in the shade 0.5-2 Very Light. I like this product, but I might be too pale for it! (If you have any recommendations on how to make it lighter, that'd be great!)
  2. a light, cool baby pink lip that can stay on forever. I am really struggling to find a product(s) that matches this description.
  3. bright eyes with white/cool baby pink eyeshadow or highlights. Should I use like eyeshadow?
  4. Cat Eye/Natural-looking Eyelashes. I would prefer a mascara over fake eyelashes, just because it's easier for me.
  5. Of course, some intense highlight, but I actually really love the one I use. However, if there is some beautiful pink sparkly product I can use for highlight, throw it at me.

Thank you so much for any help you can provide on this front. Please feel free to add any other suggestions, like primers, concealers, contour, etc. I just want an easy makeup routine that can help elevate what my face looks like naturally, and I love pink and sparkles.
