Saw a post about this a week ago and holy heck its good 10/10

My original radiator from 2012 finally blew after 338,000 miles at 11 pm leaving the girlfriends house like it was destined to😂

I got the aluminum replacement but after removing the coolant overflow hose that connects i belive the thermostat and radiator to the overflow the line snapped

I bought 3 separate replacements from 3 separate brands and they are all junk

Extremely frustrating because they are 40-60$ a piece

Even the motorcraft one wouldn't hold a seal

I finally got so fed up I rigged something up myselfand after driving 100 miles I was very pleased not to have any leaks

Does anyone else have issues finding a suitable part and maybe I was just unlucky 🤷‍♂️

I was tired of the flimsy ebay bumpers you get that just wouldn't hold up

So I built my own out of a pusher and peterbuilt frame very satisfied with the results

Used 8 5/8 grade 8 bolts to secure it and triple passed the welds on the front

Still learning to weld and fabricate so don't judge

Decided to finally tackle my leaking oil pan on my 3.0 4x4 1999
WANTED TO LET EVERYONE KNOW IT IS POSSIBLE TO REMOVE IT INSIDE THE VEHICLE WITHOUT PULLING THE TRANS
I dropped the front axle and used an engine crane to lift the motor up about 4 inches and she came out with a little wiggling
I replaced the pan gasket
melling oil pump
Camshaft synchronizer
Oil pressure sensor
Oil pump intermediate shaft

Looking pretty good for current mileage on the inside
And yes it’s an automatic 2012 Ford Focus

At the shop I work at a 1994 Ford ranger with the 4.0 came in
I’ll let y’all be the detectives what happened to this one
