I never wanted to know in the first place but we kept running into people that she had been with in our small town. After the 3rd time I had to ask her and she lied to me and told me 7. It came up again a few months later and i found out she had slept with 3 people in the 7 months leading up to us being together (went home with another guy the night we met). She told me her body count again and doubled down on the number 7.

Last week i found out that she slept with 4 people in those 7 months and her body count is actually 9.

9 isn’t a terribly high number, its more than anyone I’ve been with tho. The upsetting part is that she lied to my face and doubled down…about her body count. What else is she hiding??

I don’t trust her at all and i think i’m losing feelings for her. Am I overreacting? How do i get over her body count?

I am a consultant I’ve been with the firm for 2.5 years and recently I am noticing that our leaders fail to lead.

Does anyone else notice that managers are slacking off heavily? They’ll come online to delegate a task but if you have any questions around expectations or scope they’re nowhere to be found. They’ll log back on 4 hours later asking where is the deliverable.

My manager just asked me to “clean up and send out a deck” that has been client facing in the past, what needs to be cleaned up. I asked if they wanted to include the open questions section in the appendix but they’re dot is already purple again…

Am I expecting too much much? Is it normal for a manager to give you minimal direction and expect you to know what to do? Have I just had a few bad managers in a row?
