Hood Hinges - 77 F250

What’s everyone using to replace their hood hinges? Reading that LMC is just cheap Chinese steel. Are Classic Industries any better? Don’t need to spend a lot and get billet ones. Just need decent replacements. Thanks!

Power Steering Bracket

Can anyone point me to the right bracket I need? It’s 429 swapped into a 77 dent side. I imagine I can run a ps pump from a 460 of the same year. Thanks in advance.

Parts Sourcing

Hey y’all! I’ve got a 77 F250 that someone swapped a 429 into. I need a few parts coming up (see below), and obviously when you go online a 429 isn’t listed for my year. What’s the best way to find parts for my motor that I know will fit? Do I enter in a previous year that did have the 429?

Power steering pump
Power steering hoses
Spark plugs
Plug wires
Distributor tune up (cap and other parts inside. Can’t think of the name)

Finally Got My Going To Town Rig

77 F250 Camper Special with the 429 big block. I’m finding mixed info online if they put the 429 in dent sides. Some say yes, some say it was only a car engine. Already made a small list below. If anyone’s got parts recommendations send them my way. She’s rough in spots but runs, drives and stops pretty dang good.

Hood hinges
Doors sagging (bad door pins)
Door handles are loose
Steering is really loose. Guess bad gear box because it leaks bad
Rust/bondo above the front window
Rusty floor boards and rockers

My collection

New to the group and wanted to share my collection. 19’ > 23’ > 25’. The red ones the most current and it’s been in family for a few months thanks to 0%. All three trucks have been 2.7’s with only the blue 19’ losing a coolant temp sensor at 19k, otherwise all have been extremely solid. Shoulda posted this on the 4th!
