Bella!

I posted last week about our Bella getting her leg amputated after being told she most likely has Osteosarcoma. They amputated her leg last Wednesday and she’s doing great this week!
We did get the confirmed diagnosis and it is Osteosarcoma. However we start Chemo for her in a week and I’m feeling hopeful. She’s adjusting so well and even though this has been a heartbreaking diagnosis, I’m so happy to see her smiling and hopping around

Devastated, osteosarcoma diagnosis

We took our lovely 10 year old German shepherd/husky to the vet on Monday because she had been limping for a month. No lumps, no changes in appetite or energy. We thought it was arthritis but after the vet did some x-rays they saw an aggressive bone lesion on her right hind leg which she thinks it’s 85% osteosarcoma. They did x-rays & bloodwork and everything else looked fine, no metastasis. We didn’t wanna waste more time so we were able to get her an appointment yesterday at a specialty animal hospital and thankfully were able to amputate her leg today. They called us and said everything went fine and we might be able to pick her up tomorrow. Obviously we’re feeling a mix of emotions, grateful we were able to amputate, nervous for how she’ll adjust, and nervous for it to come back. There’s also a tiny 15% chance it’s not osteosarcoma and it’s another type of cancer or a fungal infection, I know it’s not likely but still holding onto that little hope. We’re also considering chemo after, we’re just worried about making her suffer more. I’m kind of just rambling because it’s been a rollercoaster of a week. We love her so much and we don’t wanna keep her around out of selfishness, but we truly believe she still has so much life left in her. What are your experiences?

Dating

I know Christians are called to not marry anyone who’s not Christian. However I’m curious to see if anyone is with someone who is not Christian? I’m 29 and just broke up with my 26 year old boys who’d Christian. I grew up catholic and I believe in jesus, however I don’t fully believe in everything he believes in and his goal is for me to be how he is. There is a lot of love, we both have a lot of respect for each other, want similar things out of life outside religion, he truly is my best friend and I’m having a really hard time with this break up. I just want to hear other people’s outlook/situations.

Recently got told I probably have this :(

It’s been quite horrible, what I thought were UTI’s for over a year were not and I finally got some sort of answer. Gonna see a urologist in July but it’s still so far away. Are there any supplements or any things you guys take to help alleviate some of the symptoms? I’m always bloated, feel pressure in my bladder/peeing often, and it burns. :(
