What's the source of "Please do not address this unit in that manner?"

Hi! I heard this classic bit of Computer sass (RIP Majel), & I went to look for which episode it's from, & couldn't find anyone mentioning it online. I looked through transcripts from the first few seasons of TNG, & couldn't find the line, but I could've sworn it were in S1 or S2 someplace.

https://www.trekcore.com/audio/computer/voice/donotaddressthisunitinthatmanner_clean.mp3

Does anyone know it?

EDIT: I just checked all the dialogue for "A Final Unity" via the subtitles, no dice. Hoping TrekCore will respond with an answer.

EDIT 2: Seems very likely it's from the Omnipedia, some kind of response to the user being naughty in their voice input

EDIT 3: Omnipedia is it! From /u/Apple_macOS : "This voice line triggers on the sixth time it heard something it doesn't understand from the user."

Alex often portrays his high school years as a hard-charging, swaggering, fight-havin' sex king. Here's his yearbook photo

Rex called into Chase Geiser's horrid little YouTube stream on Sunday. He's not doing well

About 45 minutes into a stunningly dull Seven-and-a-half hour stream, Chase notices Rex is watching, & invites him to call in. He does, & unleashes a torrent of woe.

If you didn't know, Rex is Alex's prized scion, following in his father's heavy, wobbly footsteps. Rex has his own show, but more importantly, he has his own supplements company. They not only handle re-labelling, warehousing, & fulfillment, but they also formulate a few of their own—contracted with a lab, I assume, but I don't know.

Anyway—Rex complains that he can't hardly pay his rent nor fill up his gas tank. He's got to sell a treasured painting his father gave to him; Alex apparently has been begging him not to, but also, cannot seem to actually afford to buy it.

Apparently, the Dr. Jones' Naturals brand—controlled by the receiver—had intended to use Rex's company for fulfillment for a year, to wind down the brand & get rid of remaining inventory. Rex was counting on that contract to make '25 & '26 work out financially; but the receiver got a cheaper offer, & told Rex "tough luck." So now he's in the lurch, having lost his main client, struggling to keep his warehouse or make payroll.

Chase does mention he makes about $1,000 monthly from Twitter; Rex mentions he had one post get a few million views, & only got $200 for it. Boo hoooo

Interestingly, Rex rants about how important his independence is to him, which is why he's stubbornly trying to keep his company afloat instead of just "getting a job in media" as his father has suggested to him. But his company only existed, because his dad was his client...how's that independent, exactly? Classic!

Also, Rex does not have a show on AJN. He asked his dad for one, & Alex couldn't make it happen. Rex also said that because there are now outside sponsors, there's less freedom on AJN under Bigly, than at IW. I've been trying to sort out just what is the situation at Bigly—a little difficult, as it's a privately-held corporation & we don't have quite the reams of documents produced in discovery that we got for IW.

But Bigly fired Chase, & they seem to be attempting (best of luck!) to force Alex to keep a lid on himself, because Bigly is reliant on outside sponsors & clients. I don't know how long Alex will be able to survive under this arrangement; as bad as he is as a boss, can you imagine him as an employee?

Anyway, that's all the most substantive stuff. A lot of the rest was mutual glad-handing; Rex calls Nick Fuentes "the most talented orator of our generation" which is just totally laughable. They briefly reflect on whether claiming IW was two weeks away from closure, for years, might have been an error marketing-wise, but are unable to admit that it definitely was. They all then admit that they "all heavily drank the Kool-Aid" of Trumpism; they're all rather bitter about how the second admin has not been sufficiently WS & has been economically ruinous.

His show's too insanely racist & boring for me to do a full Doom Room on it, but I'll keep updating you here when something interesting comes up.

The big news, of course, will be when Rosenthal issues her judgment next week, on the roadblock appeal holding up the Onion's licensing deal.

Until then, I'll leave you with a choice Chase quote: "I got rejected by virtually every woman before I met my wife."

The knowledge fight may be over, but the info war goes on. No rest for the doomed...

Whilst trying to find the families' emergency motion from the weekend—the one pointing out that the IW crew vandalized the studio on their way out—I noticed a few entries on the civil case docket (4:25-cv-05553) which is attached to the main bankruptcy case (4:25-bk-05553).

I was rather surprised to find out that Jones' team had quietly filed to rescind their appeal. That is, they filed an appeal, got an injunction, then said "nevermind," which of course does not lift the injunction:

>Alex Jones ("Jones") and his wholly owned company, Free Speech Systems, LLC ("FSS"), hereby file this Notice of Withdrawal of the Appellants’ Motion for Expedited Emergency Injunctive filed on April 29, 2026 at Docket No. 13

What a pack of fuckers!

The families' attorneys filed a relatively short (4 pages of actual argumentation) response; & then after the weekend, the judge ordered:

>Alexander E. Jones recently moved to stay a Texas state-court proceeding that would have disposed of assets that are the subject of this appeal. (Docket Entry No. 13). The Texas courts mooted the motion, and Jones has withdrawn it. (Docket Entry No. 19). The Sandy Hook Families filed an objection to the withdrawn motion, urging the court to expeditiously resolve the appeal. (Docket Entry No. 20). The court agrees that an expeditious resolution of the appeal is appropriate. The court construes the Sandy Hook Families’ objection as a motion to expedite the appeal and grants it. The issues are “fully briefed.” (Docket Entry No. 13 at 9). Oral argument is set for May 8, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. CT via Zoom.

He seems inclined to be done with this nonsense. Nothing new filed with the COA yet; I can't imagine they're pleased at having been forced procedurally to go along with this last bit of door hitting Jones on the ass.

Jones isn't the focus of my work anymore—he has become irrelevant, because now there are a legion of copycats, some of whom run the country—but I plan on at least following the case to its conclusions.

If anyone knows where that filing by the families is, with the details about the IW crew's conduct on the last night, I'd sure appreciate being pointed in the right direction! I'm just about out of PACER credits for the quarter, so I can't just search all the related dockets willy-nilly like I'd like to. I really hope it's not filed in the Gamble docket...anyway, cheers

UPDATE, 5.6.26: Thanks to u/LittlestLass for the PACER subsidy! I still cannot find the families' motion about the vandalism—but! Apparently yesterday afternoon, Jones filed (in 4:25-cv-05553) an attempt at a continuance, seeking to delay the May 8th trial. The judge responded with an order this morning, which is not in CourtListener, but with the subsidy I just grabbed it from PACER. I really think Rosenthal is extremely sick of Jones' BS, at this point. He denies the continuance, & denies the additional request for discovery. Apparently Jones' legal team wants to pretend to believe there is other secret documentation regarding the Onion's licensing agreement, which I published last week? Whatever:

>First, the court denies Jones's request to continue the May 8 setting. 'Although Jones has not filed a reply brief, he has filed two motions since the appellees filed their response brief. (Docket Entry Nos. 13, 30)...

>Third, the court denies Jones's discovery request...To the extent Jones believes an alleged agreement between the appellees is relevant to the bankruptcy case generally, he should propound such discovery in the bankruptcy court.

So the proceedings for Friday are still on, with a judge that seems increasingly inclined to stop the madness (of this particular appeal (insofar as he is able)).

[SPOILER: They did not, in fact, go until midnight]

I will be watching the whole rest of the evening. Wish me luck, I'll update here if anything interesting comes up, & I'll keep a running list of who appears in these final hours at IW.

All times Pacific.

4PM: War Room has returned, with Harrison Smith. Mike Adams the "Health Ranger" is on.* They're reminiscing about the good ol' days, & emphasizing that Alex never tells them what to say—seems like Owen's ghost haunts them still.

4:40: Mike has to go. Alex still en route. Harrison claims they are abandoning the studio for real.

5PM: Alex arriveth. Claims PIs are being sent to lock the doors with new keys I guess? Odd. Also says Myron Gaines† will be on more tonight & tomorrow, gross.

5:30PM: Myron Gaines in the studio, Luke Rudkowski‡ remotely. Thinly-veiled anti-Semitism segment, three brain cells trying to discuss foreign policy. "The War on Iran is COVID 2.0." By Grabthar's hammer...what a sentence.

6PM: The Myron/Luke/Alex show continues. Alex almost certainly has booze in a soda cup. This has been a particularly uninteresting hour, even for Alex, but his lips will surely loosen as that cup drains down.

6:30PM: Oh Lord, it's Robert Barnes÷. Using a heavy slop filter on his camera. For some reason Barnes is pretending to have loved "the legacy Onion?" Cripes. This is also very boring.

7PM: Barnes is still here. They've got no problem calling Tim Heidecker a pedophile over & over, which may give us a clue as to how Barnes bungled the defamation business.

7:15PM: The whole crew is here while Alex tries to get into preacher mode. It's gonna take a while to ID all these freaks

————————

OK, I need help, I only recognize a few of these guys. Please leave a comment if you recognize any of these people that I don't:

Farewell toast, view 1: https://wizworldlive.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/InfoWarrior-Farewell-1.png

View 2: https://wizworldlive.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/InfoWarrior-Farewell-2.png

Alex is there, of course. Harrison Smith. Blue shirt is Darrin McBreen. Guy in the vertical stripes, I think, is Reese Marrero "The Psyop Cop," who is an editor. In the "veteran of the Info War" shirt, I think that is Brandon Grey of "Just Another Channel." Rex is there with his bad goatee, with his "Gray Area" co-host Tim Tompkins in the grey shirt. I think that's all I can spot for now.

Fudgie spotted Rob Agueros, the bald gentleman in the black IW shirt with the long beard, behind Alex. & also the schlub in the red velvet shirt, he kenned as Thomas Sisca, whom I barely remember at all.

————————

7:20PM: Tom Renz is up? Slow down Tom I gotta sift through the group photo toast first. Your mic sounds like shit, Tom! Fix that XLR!

7:30PM: Tom is now there with Harrison and Jay Dyer. I might have to come back Saturday & do more write-ups, because SO many people showed up, but I'll keep the record of guests going through to the end!

8PM: The third-striger triad are whining that people now question reality too much & consensus is lost. WHOM DO YOU THINK HELPED MAKE THAT HAPPEN, FELLAS? They them brag about how pervasive IW thought has become. Don't try to reconcile the hypocrisy, ours not possible. They're signing off? Who's left?

8:10PM: Rob Dew comes by for the final farewell, before throwing to BEST-OFs for the last two hours! LAZY.

I'll try to ID the rest of the guys this weekend, and I'll finish the write-ups then, too. Can't believe they clocked out with TWO HOURS left! If you enjoy RW coverage in detail like this, & are interested in coverage of the RW world beyond InfoWars, maybe come by the "Doom Room," some Sunday at 8 Pacific.

————————

*Mike Adams, anti-vaccine evangelist, AI addict. He was early to call Israel's brutality in Gaza a genocide, & frequently criticizes King Trump, which has unfortunately meant he's starting to leak into liberal & left circles, particularly via RTs on Twitter. I hope the move away from IW hinders his spread, but who knows.

†Myron Gaines. Ex-fed, bloodthirsty. Extremely proud of his violent service to the state, enforcing the very laws & hegemony that he now both supports & yet also rails against. Hates women to an extreme degree. Tolerates an awful lot of racism, against himself & everyone else, on his execrable podcast which I shall not name here. Alex was a guest on his show when he was in Florida recently.

‡Luke Rudkowski. Crypto freak, with generic InfoWarrior opinions. Supports Schneider, RFK, &c. Not particularly noteworthy. Bit funny that he wormed his way into the big "End of Days" marathon; the IW guest pool is rather dry of late.

÷Robert Barnes. Alex Jones' former attorney, host of his own show which has unfortunately done well on Rumble. Has managed to convince Alex that losing the defamation case was NOT Barnes' fault. Was part of Kyle Rittenhouse's legal team, but didn't manage to actually represent him in court, & I am sure he regrets not getting that cash. He is not a very good broadcaster, just like everyone in the IW network.

Hullo!

I'm very interested in the overlap between anarchism & the occult (taken as broadly as you like), & I'm looking for good resources to see what others have written or said on the intersection of these two topics.

But I would really like someone other than Mark Passio. The egoism, the condescension, the misogyny, the hanging out with transphobic guests & Holocaust deniers—hoo boy, sifting through the poison is not worth whatever nectar about occultism one might find.

I just found out about Erica Lagalisse last night, I've got her book Occult Features of Anarchism from the library—shame there's no audiobook of it, would love to listen to it while I work on other things. But who else is out there? Who's got good works, & good thoughts?
