Raiders!
We are rolling out a Hotfix right now on all platforms, please restart the game to download. This is a small one before the weekend, we’re still going through all your feedback since the 1.29.0 update, thank you all for sharing your thoughts!

The items in your inventory appear at the bottom of the list!
It's been clear that the durability changes in the last patch were felt too much on some weapons. For this update we're targeting the worst offenders that seem to break too quickly, increasing their lifetime to bring them in line with other weapons.
We will continue to listen to your feedback and monitor for any pain points that come up around durability in the coming weeks, and continue to adjust accordingly.
Tian Wen has been tinkering in her workshop again… Meet the Rascal, the latest addition to your arsenal for tackling armored ARC threats.
Lightweight, compact, and easy to carry, this unconventional launcher packs a punch despite its… quirks. While it’s slower to reload, and a bit unpredictable on the aim, the Rascal shines as a reliable side-arm for those who want anti-ARC firepower without the risk of lugging around a Hullcracker.

A mysterious merchant has been spotted scoping out his pitch, opening up new ways for Raiders to trade high-value loot for exclusive rewards. Why not pay him a visit? Live update 1.29 lands tomorrow with a new Trader, fresh cosmetics, and more.
This Week’s trial is open lockers, which will be the best strategy for the highest potential score?
Dam
Buried City (Easiest 3 star probably)
I must be missing more right?
Spaceport
Blue Gate
Stella Montis
Riven Tides (least familiar map especially the key rooms)
What are your thoughts and what did I miss? Looks to me like Dam is the high potential score if you have all the keys, a lot of the key rooms have lockers.
Spaceport has high potential if you can run to all the spots. Good to do if you can time it with a hidden bunker for the additional time and lockers. 40 mins is also useful to try for all the small spawn locations at the map edges with lockers. Keys can also help here.
I don't think the others have max score potential. Buried city will probably be the easiest to 3-star with close spawns doing a run from Space Travel > Hospital > Library
Post your map choice and score below. How high can you go?
Update: Each locker will give 160 pts so it will take 19 lockers to get 3 stars. I did the buried route and Hospital > Library > Space Travel > Research > Gas station > Maintenance Depot for a 4k score, very bad RNG on some areas with no locker spawns

There’s a new store rotation going live right now introducing The Castaway Set - please restart the game or click the thing to start the update! The Third Expedition is underway, and the third and final update to the Patchwork outfit is available to all who departed in their Caravans. Good luck to those who are starting out on new adventures in the Rust Belt, go get those Blueprints, Raiders! The team is aware of an issue causing some expeditioners to be missing skill points after departing. While we have managed to solve the issue, we are still tracking down the remaining accounts affected and will be granting skill points in the following days. A massive thank you to Dusty, Oscar, and Flow for holding the fort while I was away - you’re the best!
I’m also super excited to announce that u/Embark | Raz is joining the Embark team as our new Community Operator! Here is a little intro: “Hello there Raiders. Don't shoot! I'll be helping Ossen with everything throughout the Rust Belt, so I'll see you around. Don't hesitate to say hi or tell me about your adventures Topside! I love a good story.”

The ship trinkets for the new Miniature Voyages event spawn on "open" loot spawns, not just in containers. Those "open" spawns are weighed heavily to spawn the ships. A great spot for this is the Pale Apartments, Ruby Residences and Pattern House on the Dam map. You can find in in the first floor utility room on the shelves (2-4 spawn there) and then on the tables, couches and kitchen countertops in the apartments above. Another great spot is Galleria on Buried city (shop shelves) as well as the Pharmacy shelves. Side note, I have not found any of the epic (purple) or legendary (yellow) ships this way, I've gotten those from the Beachcombing suitcases.
Bonus Tip: This is also a great way to do the weekly trial to loot kitchen cabinets. You won't always find enough cabinets the raid, but with some RNG you will get enough to 3-star the trial. Remember only the cabinets that swing open count. The drawers and fridge do not count.
The meta for this week's trial " Deal melee damage to ARC enemies" seems to be killing Shredders on Stella Montis. Tips:
- Most importantly : Sky-clearing swing skill does not work on shredders
- 1 shredder is almost 3-stars
- Respeccing can help, useful skills are "Effortless Swing" (melee costs less stamina), Three deep breaths and Fight or Flight.
- Bring lots of Adrenaline
- Ticks are a huge danger and it is better to kill them with a gun than try to melee them with a Shredder nearby.
- Consider a Hullcracker in case you get double Shredders
- Night raids still spawn more shredders.
Some have asked why the Turbines spawn so late in the raid. I am sure there are good gameplay reasons, like helping late spawns (if you are staying to hunt Turbines, there is less need to back fill later in the raid). However I think this is enviromental story telling as well. I bet as new updates roll out, we'll see them spawning earlier and earlier in the raids. I hope it culminates in a "Defense of Speranza" mode where we defend Speranza similar to the classic X-com base defense mission. It would be a way for Embark to invest in a "walkable" Speranza and have it used for gameplay as well. The temors could be caused by a drilling ARC like those used to build subway tunnels. It bursts through the wall into Speranza and we have to disable it while it is defended by waves of ground ARC (we've got several new flying ARC, it's time for new ground ARC).
This seems to be an upcoming trial based on the data-mined info from metaforge : https://metaforge.app/arc-raiders/weekly-trials
If so, which would be the best map to do the trial? It feels like buried city:
- Grandiose Apts
- Various Apts in Santa Maria Houses and Plaza Rosa area.
Or could it be Dam Battlegrounds with:
- Pale Apts
- Pattern House
- Ruby Residences
Or Blue Gate with :
- Village
- Ruined homestead

Ever wondered what it takes to build a map like Riven Tides? In our latest dev diary we’re diving into the design process behind the new map. A deserted Rust Belt shoreline, abandoned during the Exodus and later by First Wave survivors who couldn’t hold it against the ARC, see how it all came to life.
