Hey folks,
I recently transferred reward points from my HDFC Biz Black credit card to Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer, and something seems a bit odd.
Placed the transfer request via net banking on 15 April
Got an SMS from HDFC saying the miles were credited on 18 April
When I checked my KrisFlyer account, I did receive 100 KrisMiles
But here’s the confusing part — the transaction narration shows up as “HDFC Bank VISA INFINITE WELCOME GIFT” instead of a normal points transfer description.
So:
The miles are credited ✔️
Amount matches ✔️
But the narration looks unrelated ❓
Has anyone else experienced this kind of mismatch in description when transferring from HDFC to KrisFlyer? Is this just a backend labeling issue, or something I should follow up on?
