Decided to refresh the looks of my Gilera Runner FX125.
Bought a set of Evo panels and have them an OEM color paint combo.
Up close looks so good.. I got offers on buying it right from the first ride around my house!
Last photo is the before... I looked good but want to preserve the original panel set .. I may fit that to the Runner 180 2t I'm rebuilding.
The only 2 Evos in my area..
This is the Proteus II a Type 209/1100 that was decommissioned in 2022 now you can visit in Athens.
We took the Dragster for the first time on a shakedown ride outside town.
It went really well and the only issue is the tachometer that doesn't work very well but after than that goes very good.
Took the Runner to a short ride to the suburbs.
I'm building a 180cc engine for it
Hopefully in a month or so should be ready
It's been almost 9 months since we started this project.
We are waiting on a few more bits to finish it but we're close now.
