Stealth bass?

Anyone know when the last time these monsters were made? And if they ever got different headstocks? I'm seriously considering going the custom route to get something like this but with the Extreme Exotic Reptile Burst style

I have a guitar I'd like to setup as my test mule to experiment different pickups and other electronics. I want a good solderless connector to make swaps easier. These are what I found but if anyone has a better suggestion I am a noob and would like to hear from anyone with better solutions.
