Others experience

I tested positive for covid 10 days ago. I'm having a hard time breathing. Out of the 10 days I ended up in the ER 3 times. The first time I had no clue why I couldn't breathe, I thought I was having a heart attack. They did all the tests and everything came back normal. But I had a cold so I asked them to test me for viruses. And yep, covid. So I got some steroids, paxlovid and used my inhalers. FYI I have COPD and asthma. 3 days later, the same thing. I couldn't breathe, felt really dizzy, they gave me a breathing treatment that was sent from God. Lol and sent me on my way. It was touch and go for about 2 days. Then I was in the clear! Or so I thought. Day 10, can't breathe, dizzy, like what! My oxygen dropped to 90 while I laid down so back to the ER. Breathing treatment, steroids, and sent home. What was/is your experience with covid? Has anyone had a similar experience?

What are you taking caplyta for?

I'm about to start caplyta for schitzo affective bipolar type disorder. I've read posts from this community and for the most part it sounds like people are loving it. And then I go to the schitzo affective community and the results are different. I'm dealing with a weird feeling that is hard to explain from d2 blockers. It's a type of anxiety that rules my every day. I'm hoping that the fact that caplyta is a dopamine modulator, it'll help. What are you on it for and has it been, good or bad?

From abilify to caplyta

I'm going to switch from abilify to caplyta. I'm afraid of the taper. Does anyone have experience with this switch? I'm also on lamictal, benztropine, mirtazipine, clanzapam.

Glitch, teleportation, or manifestation

So I was walking home from the hospital in Las Vegas. I was exhausted!!! The walk was about 6 miles and the streets were diagonal and horizontal, typical city streets. I looked at the street sign and noticed where I was. I was still about 4 miles away. I looked back at the same street sign and expected to be completely overwhelmed, rereminding myself of the reality of how far I have to go. but the sign was different. I looked in front of me and realized I was one block away from home.

I have several theories.

One, I was so exhausted that I manifested it. Like I wasn't playing by the rules anymore, I unconsciously chose to break an unspoken forbidden ability that we all possess.

Two, that the simulation glitched.

Or three, I somehow teleported. Maybe through a portal or worm hole. Or some other type of warping of space time.

Idk give me your thoughts. Has anyone else been through something similar?

Caplyta and other meds

In about a month I'm going to switch from abilify to caplyta due to massive anxiety and panic from d2 blockers. I'm really excited but of course with any new med changes I'm a little apprehensive. I take mirtazipine, benztropine, lamictal and Klonipin. I hear caplyta is sedative and I'm worried about interactions. Has anyone had interaction with other sedative medications alongside caplyta? How sedating is it? What should I suspect?

Has anyone titrated off of Klonipin?

At some point I have to titrate off of Klonipin and I've only heard horror stories about it. Has anyone done this? Please help ease my mind. Lol

What were the signs that alerted you to nerve damage?

I have several nerves compressed in my lumbar and my cervical. Also my spinal cord is compressed. I've had this problem for years, I'm not sure exactly how long, I had an MRI done a year ago. In my cervical I cannot lift my arm out and do chores or any activity without numbness, pain, weakness and exhaustion. I can feel the nerves being pinched and have to give up on the task.

In my lumbar the pain is excruciating when I stand and walk. Oh ya and get out of my car. I tend to waddle when I walk. My butt and back of legs go numb, and they are weak then exhausted. It's so difficult to do anything that requires effort. My body is too exhausted.

How much does it take to permanently damage your nerves from DDD? I'm so afraid of the future. I can't imagine it getting worse. I'm going to have a nerve test. EMG And what are the signs that it is getting bad?

Antipsychotics only

Is anybody only taking an antipsychotic? I have been on the medicine train for years. Taking multiple medications for my mental health, but now I'm ready to cut it down. I have been medicating for anxiety and have just found out I am deficient in vitamin d and iron. I took my first dose of vitamin d and my symptoms have gotten so much better. I know I need my antipsychotic for psychosis but all the others have been for symptoms that are being resolved with my treatment for my deficiencies.

I have been feeling weird, dizzy, and disoriented. I think it's from the antipsychotic. It is so debilitating. I can't take it anymore. I did find out that I'm iron deficient so that could be a contributer. Does anybody else feel this way? It started when I started taking mental health medication.
