Has anyone gotten direct entry from highschool to the diagnostic imaging program?
Or if anyone's in the program do you know anyone in the program from directly highschool?
I've heard you can get in directly from highschool but ive never seen anyone say they have. Only people from pre-health or enrolled in pre-health.
my situation at home is not good with my family, I dont think I can be myself or stop being depressed staying here (we're also not doing good financially). I wanna graduate early and pursue something that wont be a risk because I really need a job. I was thinking of doing bachelors of nursing nearby (like at mcmaster or tmu) and osap cut off a lot of funding so I'll graduate in 4 years with quite a lot of debt, and since the job market is bad here ill probably end up moving anyway.
I then found out about learn & stay grant and that carletons compressed 3 yrs nursing program offers it. I really wanna do it (especially because I can graduate early and be alone) but id have to find a job in the ontario east region within 6 months and I keep seeing people unable to find jobs & having it turn into an interest loan, ill have almost 3x more debt if that happened.
How is the market there currently and do you guys have any recommendations for me or similar experiences?
