Hi everyone,

The vast majority of my Readwise highlights don’t include any HTML sources. How is that possible? I’d like to be able to find out where I found a quote. This is especially the case for highlights where I made just a single highlight on a website and saved it via the Readwise app—for example, on my Android phone (i.e., not via Reader). How can I add the HTML sources to these many highlights retroactively?

bei meinem Scanner (Epson WorkForce WF-C5710) kann ich eigentlich "searchable PDF" beim Scannen anklicken. Kann ich OCR aber auch nachträglich bei Dokumenten, bei denen ich das nicht ausgewählt hatte, verfügbar machen? Also die z. B. offline durch ein Tool "jagen", das nachträglich aus einem (oder am besten "bulk", also bei mehreren!) "Nur-Bild-PDF(s)" ein "OCR-PDF" macht? Danke für eure Antworten.

angenommen man hat mehrere Protonmail-Mailadressen und möchte diese - damit die Inhalte nicht automatisch regelmäßig von Protonmail gelöscht werden - regelmäßig automatisch abrufen lassen. Geht das über nen Multi-E-Mail-Client (oder wie das heißt) wie z.B. Firebird? Früher ging das bei Protonmail meines Wissens noch nicht.

angenommen, ich habe Dateien und Ordner auf verschiedenen Cloud-Speichern (GDrive, OneDrive, kDrive usw.) liegen und diese Cloud-Speicher als Cloud-Laufwerke in meinen Windows Explorer eingebunden. Wie kann ich sicherstellen, dass die gespiegelten Inhalte aus der Cloud lokal auf meiner Festplatte (z. B. im Falle einer Kompromittierung des Cloud Speichers) dennoch offline verfügbar bleiben? Wenn morgen alle meine Dateien aus GDrive verschwinden würden, weil mein Account gehackt wurde, könnte ich dann dennoch noch auf die gespiegelten GDrive-Daten auf meinre Festplatte zugreifen?

does Readwise automatically add the exact source to text highlights on the web, the way OneNote does when you copy from a browser (e.g., Firefox) and paste into OneNote? OneNote is my benchmark here because I always want to know exactly where I got certain sources from. I’d like to have that feature in Readwise, UpNote, and/or Obsidian as well. I also use Readwise, but I don’t think the HTML sources for highlights are automatically added when saving via the Android app (and I believe the same goes for the iPad app). You also have to add tags manually—AI-based tag suggestions or suggestions based on tag frequency would really make things easier. The same goes for text sources from Reader: as far as I know, HTML sources aren’t added to all (!) highlights associated with a text or webpage, and the tags you add to a webpage or text in Reader aren’t carried over to all (!) highlights either. That’s a shame. Is this something you’re planning to address?

You don't have to like Microsoft OneNote, but I’d still be interested to know if it’s possible to set up similar functionality in UpNote. I’m really only concerned with one thing: when researching topics online, I want to copy text snippets from the browser and paste them chronologically into an UpNote page—*including* the automatic insertion of the HTML source (e.g., in OneNote, it adds something like "From <https(:)//www.reddit.com/r/(...)"). Does UpNote offer this feature—ideally with a timestamp or date included after the link?

wisst ihr, wie man möglichst professionell Pflegeleistungen für berücksichtigungsfähige Angehörige (z. B. Ehepartner, Kinder) beantragt? Welche Rolle spielen Beihilfe, PKV und ggf. private Pflegezusatzversicherungen? Gibt es bestimmte spezialisierte Beratungsangebote dafür (z. B. Versicherungsmakler, Versicherungsberater)? Für BU-Leistungsanträge gibt es meines Wissens sowas wie den BU-Expertenservice. Vielleicht gilt das ja auch für Pflegeleistungen.

hat jemand Erfahrungen mit der Beantragung von Pflegeleistungen für Beihilfeberechtigte (z. B. Ehegatten oder Kinder)? Leisten da die Beihilfe und die PKV (und ggf. private Pflegezusatzversicherungen)? Gibt es dafür bestimmte Foren oder vertrauenswürdige Quellen?
