I applied for the BA LLB course in DU, and so far I’ve gotten a private college (Nirma). I wanted some real insights on DU’s 5-year law course.
A few things I specifically wanted to know about:
-academic pressure, attendance, and workload
-faculty and teaching quality
-how approachable professors are
-crowd/peer group and the overall environment
-internships and exposure
-moots, debates, research opportunities, societies, etc.
-hostel/living situation and campus life
-career opportunities and future placement prospects
-extracurriculars and co-curriculars
-work-life balance and free time
-breaks (semester/seasonal/internships) and how internships are usually managed
As of now, I'm leaning more towards policy work, international law, environmental and human rights field, and possibly UPSC later on. I also don’t really have any legal background or connections, and I’m not very interested in hardcore litigation or corporate firms, so I’d especially appreciate insights from that point of view, especially if anyone's exploring similar alternative paths through law.
Would really appreciate any honest review. Thank you! 🙏
College's about to start so I'm in search for a good quality formal trouser that's also affordable (under 1.5k if possible, can extend to 2k). My height is 5'6, I prefer below ankle length. Please help me find one! The thing is tailors around me aren't that good when it comes to these fits for women so I was hoping to just buy one.
It's been 1 and a half months since I got braces and around 15 days since I got IPR. Ortho said that I can get my desired results with IPR and if not then extractions will be needed. I can see some very minor changes but nothing too noticeable. I really don't wanna get extractions or flaring after braces either. A lot of people have told me that I didn't need braces and although I wanted it, I sometimes do think that I shouldn't have gotten them.
