Is this cinnabal? I'm quite preoccupied

My mother and I took this very bright red rock inside the car (Isle of Skye, Scotland). However as soon as my mother (who touched it barehanded) layed it down, it broke into a big piece, it was quite granular and easily breakable so we threw it away and disinfected our hands right after. Doing a quick research on google lens it suggests it can be cinnabal, which is highly toxic when it breaks. We're still in the car potentially inhaling the dust of the broken pieces. Can you help identify the rock and suggest what should I do?

Best route to Arthur's Seat at sunset

Hi guys, sorry to bother again. Thanks for all your answers to the previous post! I've been trying to collect info about routes to the top but it isn't easy. Since we start from the Palace of Holyroodhouse I'm undecided between the "green route" (the safest one) but also the scenic one that goes through The Dasses and then Piper's Walk or the one that goes through valley and Hunter's Bog. Since I can't seem to collect any info on what you actually see in these last two routes, can you help fill the gaps? Also, is it worth to detour to see St. Anthony's Chapel ruins and St. Margharet's Loch or is it quite dangerous for the sunset? This said, I have a more important question: how do we go down once we reached the top? I read people generally take the red route descending BUT I don't know if it's safe at night, and then it's not clear what other route they take. Any help is appreciated

Is it safe to visit Arthur's Seat during Sunset in August?

Hi everyone, need some serious advice on Arthur's Seat, I would go with my parents to visit it during sunset (which leaves us issues for the descent). We have headtorch, however none of us is particularly skilled at hiking. My issue is: are we safe doing this for sunset? Is it enough crowded to not be alone doing this, right? And what do you best suggest for the descent? Thank you for your time
