ACOM vs KYCOM

I am grateful to have gotten into ACOM, and I also have an interview for KYCOM. Just wondering what y'all think what school is better. KYCOM only has in person interviews so is it worth going out to interview? I was thinking if ACOM is the better school, I can just cancel my KYCOM interview and open up a spot for others

Lecom interview

My interview genuinely went terrible. I feel like I blanked multiple times, was stuttering, and saying ummm too. I’m praying I’m not like this in front of actual people

How do schools consider you before sending interview invites?

So I just joined the LECOM informational session because my interview is due tomorrow. there are 140 people in this session alone, and they said they start looking at your PS, LOR, and MCAT/GPA after interview. I thought schools consider that stuff before your interview. Is LECOM just an outlier?

ACOM interview

So I just got an ACOM interview. They have dates in a week, August, and then September. How big of a difference is doing a date in August or September?

how should I approach the secondary?

You may provide additional information, not stated elsewhere, you feel may help the Admissions Committee gain a better understanding of your candidacy. This may include major life achievements or explanations of academic or non-academic discrepancies on your application. You may also include interests or work experiences.

- can I talk about how my interest is to practice in the state of where this med school is located. also alongside this mentioning that my family lives 15 min away from campus, and their support would mean a lot. or should I just leave this blank.

MSUCOM secondary

so I just got msucoms secondary, and this is one of the prompts: Please describe any intentional efforts you have made to learn about osteopathic medicine. This may include meaningful interactions with DOs, experiences that influenced your understanding of osteopathic philosophy or professional identity, or specific reasons for your interest in the osteopathic profession. You are not required to complete this field. If you do not have additional information to share, write "N/A" in the box below.

Would it be weird to mention specific names of students at their med school that I have talked to about their curriculum and how it influenced my decision to pursue osteopathic medicine?

KCU interview

Hey guys I am blessed to receive a II from KCU last week. I am pretty nervous as I suck at talking about myself, and generally interviews have not been my strong suit. I am thinking about doing in person. Any tips from previous interviewers would be appreciated! also are their multiple interviews?

secondary asking for research project hours

one of my secondaries are asking how many hours I put into a search project. I was labeled as a co-author for an abstract put in a journal, but like we spent so much time over a course of a couple of months just getting data that I have no idea how many actual hours I put in. How should I go on about this?
