PvP Healer (or support) that can deal damage or hold it's own in a 1v1

I'm a PvPer through and through. Love me some pvp and I enjoy healing and support.

I've been trying out a lot of different healers and trying to see which healer will mesh with me the most. I like healing and I like being able to possibly get a kill if I'm caught out. I don't want to just have to run away.

Witch Doctor is a lot of fun to heal with, but it fell into that category of good heals, but if you get caught you need to run away.

Is there a healer that can actually hold it's own in a 1v1 battle?

Question about PvP Brewing Witch Doctors

Hello, I've been trying to find an answer to this but haven't been able to find anything or see any pvp videos/compilations.

Are brewers able at all to deal any kind of meaningful damage in a 1v1 or even 1v2 setting? Or are they better off just running away and trying to find a friend?

Thanks,

Be vigilant of scams

Be vigilant of scams everyone.

Just got this email from an audible.com email address. Looked promising at first (no it didn't) and then you get to the point where it says "contact our Project Manager through our official Telegram account."

No reputable business I know will make you message them through Telegram.

Broken Bells - Into the Blue

While Broken Bells is not strictly a psychedelic rock band considering their previous two albums were wildly different in style, the first being more modern, and the second being more 70s/80s poppy/disco. Their third album Into the Blue has awesome psychedelic elements to it. The entire album is worth a listen to. Absolutely fantastic album.

Can't decide on Kronos 5 or Epoch?

If you can't decide between Kronos or Epoch I have spent a lot of time on both servers and they both have good and bad things about them and a lot of it comes down to how you like to play.

I have played on Epoch since it launched and I have played on a number of Kronos servers so I have some experience in this. If you have anything that I haven't covered please let me know!

For the sake of this post, I am mainly covering Gurubashi because that is the server I played on most as I haven't played on Kezan much at all.

World PvP and BGs

World PvP on Gurubashi is pretty dead save for the world boss fights which are pretty epic actually. Very reminiscent of old AV in the sense that we just had a 9 hour long fight and it was pretty awesome. However, one of my favourite things with world pvp is the leveling experience, which, sadly, doesn't really exist on Gurubashi.

Most people aren't really leveling in the world and are sitting in the city queueing for bgs. It's fine and all, especially if you like that, but like I said, I love questing out in the world and killing the opposing faction on sight when I see them. The need for pvp gear on Gurubashi has invalidated the questing experience because if you aren't starting to get your wsg marks at level 10 you're going to have a much harder time in pvp as you level up. The pvp gear also invalidates a lot of the gear you're going to find in the world as well, so the end game grind for pvp gear is very real.

The nice thing though is that the grind for end game pvp gear does require you to go out into the world, run dungeons, and farm mats for the various components that you will need. So like I said before, the level 60 wpvp can exist. However, the population for it just isn't really there so you're likely not going to be seeing a lot of people, especially if you are playing at off peak hours.

Kronos does not have this issue. Questing is how you level (unless you are dungeon grinding, which I don't enjoy) and leveling in the world will bring a ton of skirmishes. If you prefer questing and leveling to bg spamming to level Kronos is likely a better option for you. As well, pvp gear is no where near as op on Kronos as it is on Epoch since it is vanilla pvp gear that did not have resilience or the damage reduction that Epoch has. I also like this more because again, it's called the World of Warcraft, not the Cities of Warcraft. I don't want to just hang out in a city queuing for bgs endlessly.

While leveling in bgs on Epoch in certain brackets it can take an insane amount of time to get a bg to pop and a lot of time when it does pop it will not even be a full roster on each team, often times being a 3v3.

Epoch only has WSG and a reskinned Eye of the Storm, with EotS only available at level 40+. The biggest thing needed for Epoch is more bgs. There was a very long time where WSG was the only bg available.

Kronos doesn't have EotS but at least it has AB and AV.

I've heard on Kezan that a lot of people have warmode (their opt in version of world pvp) though many people don't actually engage in wpvp and just have it on for the xp increase. As well, I have heard that at level 60 wpvp is non existent which is a deal breaker for me and the main thing that kept me from seriously trying to create a character on Kezan.

Raid Logging

Epoch has no raid logging because it has no raids. I guess it has Ony but the end game grind for pvp gear is pretty taxing so you're likely not going to be raid logging.

Kronos will suffer the fate of raid logging a little more than Epoch will since raids are generally the end game content a lot of people stick around for rather than the endless bg pvp grind.

Talent Trees

Kronos has the OG vanilla talents trees that are not without their flaws.

Epoch has the shiny TBC talent trees which are just... just fantastic. This is the one thing I miss the most about returning to vanilla, though the original vanilla trees are quite nostalgic.

This was just off the top of my head and since I'm a pvp player my post was mainly focused on pvp as you can see. I don't have nearly as much experience raiding so I probably shouldn't have even covered it honestly. I'm sure there are people here who could shed light on that a lot more.
