DXF file glitch trouble shoot.

Posted in sketchup but no leads. I’ve recently had some issues sending speaker cab dfx files to cnc. I don’t know what program the shop used to open the dbx files, but they came out with lots of artifacts and were impossible to read. I extracted the files again and the artifacts went away, but I want to know what might be causing the problems, so that I can more consistently avoid the issue.
I send the shop variations of the file, so I don’t know what changes have better results, and they didn’t respond when I asked. Some of the files had a 2d backer to represent the scale of the cutting material, so that might have caused issue.
Can any give advice on sending DXF to cnc shops? Thanks

Building my first hifi speakers for a friend.

I have been asked by a friend of a friend to build some hifi, dj, home listening speakers. They came to me since I do a bit of carpentry and speaker cabinet building however I usually build bigger stuff.
I’ve wanted to get into this side of cabinet building and design for a bit, so would like to use this project as an opportunity to try my hand at it.
Coming from the louder side of things, we tend to use plans from the broader community, with recommended pro drivers.

Here is my plan so far
I want to use a satori mw19p-4 7.5” woofer to make a base reflex cabinet. I would like to build in cnc birch ply. I like the idea of twin ported reflex bass cabinet that has a driver center, hangers in portrait with slit ports up each side.
These decisions are based on very little. The driver looks like it had good function, price and availability (limited options in my region) The double port is based on appearance and maybe a strong base response. Client requested multi cell horn or another trendy external horn.
I don’t think I have time to learn horn resp, I’m good on sketch up. Was looking at hiring a cab designer on fiver.

Any advice welcomed!
