Where to start? M.Sc Data Science graduate.

Hey, my cousin graduated last year with an M.Sc. in Data Science and an 8.4 CGPA. She has basic working knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and Excel. She’s extremely hardworking and intelligent, but she’s really struggling to land an entry-level job.

We’re based in North India (Chandigarh region), and there don’t seem to be many good opportunities here. One major limitation is that she can’t relocate to another city right now and is specifically looking for remote/WFH opportunities or in the hometown area.

Where should she begin? What additional skills would actually improve her chances? What’s the right way to apply for entry-level roles in this field? Also, are there any good companies that offer paid or even unpaid remote internships for freshers in data science or analytics?

Strong dizziness after meal. 12.5 weeks.

Hey I am 12.5-13 weeks today. This week has been hard. I was diagnosed with GD at 8 weeks. All three numbers were high.

Recently my post meal are contrilled, all lower than 130 butttt my fasting is always between 93-100. I am on metformin 500 and night time 4 units insulin.

It has been so hard recently, every time I eat I feel so dizzy my head feels so light. Like when I sit it feels like everthing is spinning. I have balanced meal adding protein very less carbs.

I don"t know what's happening..I have major brain fog too.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Subchronic bleed keep coming back

So I am 28 FTM, had my 12 week scan yesterday. My subchronic bleed just keep coming back.

I had my first scan at 6w4d and then at 8w2d the bleed reduced significantly and measured at 7x5mm. But now at 12.1 week the sub chronic bleed is again 19.5x5mm.

I don't understand what's happening. I am on progestrone support- medication + weekly injections (hate them so much, so painful).

I am working from home and have very minimal travel only hospital visits, I do live on first floor so need to climb stairs alot. I haven't had sex since we found out don't wanna risk anything. My dr. put hold on baby asprin for 2 weeks to see if that makes any difference.

I just don't understand why it keeps coming back. I have no cramps, spotting or bleeding ever.

12 weeks. Food Aversion. Meal Ideas pleaseeeeeeee

Hey I am FTM (28, Indian) and 12 weeks today. . Yayyyy!! Have my 12 week scan today (scared & excited) and this pregnancy has been going smootly no morning sickness, no nausea or no cravings. I was able to eat everything. Then I was hit by Gestational diabetes..I have a big appetite now like eating every 1 or 2 hour big....But this week I have started these aversions specially from Cottage cheese, eggs and soya 🤮🤮🤢🤢. I just hate the smell and I don't eat chicken. So basically all my protein sources went to drain. I am on 4 units insulin night time and metformin 500 mg (morning & evening) still I get spikes sometimes.

What I eat mostly:

Waking up: One glass of lukewarm water + soaked nuts

Breakfast: always the same, unsweetened Peanut butter + 2 brown bread toast + glass of warm milk

Mid-morning: Apple/Kiwi/Guava + pistachio

Lunch: Moong dal khichdi or 2 wheat chapati + whtever homemade veggie I have made + homemade curd + buttermilk

Evening snack: Milk + some cookies or foxnuts or protein bar

Dinner: Rice/Chappati + veggie

No bedtime snack b'cz that spikes my fasting level.

But the problem is low protein and I get hungry between lunch & dinner. Because difference between my lunch & dinner is almost 7-8 hours.

I am 11 weeks today. I have read so many posts that women have vaginal discharge. Some might have less or some experience alot of it. But I don't have it. Not even once. I am on progestrone meds and injections so I should have it right?

But I don't have the other pregnancy symptoms either. No morning sickness, no nausea. I only have sore breats that come and go. Frequent urination & 24/7 hungry. No food aversions no cravings. I had previous two scan, last one was at 8w4d baby was doing great. Next one is at 12 weeks.

Does not having vaginal discharge is ok? Or does it starts late?

Hey I am 28 FTM, 11 weeks today. Since yesterday I am feeling this pulling sensation near pelvis/lower abdomen. Like I am carrying some weight there. I mean I am, but baby is tiny rn so is this pulling common or normal at this week?

Could be bcz of MMC? I had am early miscarriage last year, I don't want to loose this baby.

Also, yesterday I had diarreha too, it has been happening since the start of this pregnancy. 2 days constipation 3rd day diarreha and I had stomach ache and mild back pain after that, which subsided when I wokeup in the morning. So could this pulling be bcz of my that episode?

I had a fairly smooth pregnancy so far- no morning sickness, no nausea. Just sore boobs that go on and off. Mild back pain bcz I am sitting wfh job. Pretty much it...oh and I am hungry 24/7 so I shouldn't be constipated acc. to the amount of food I eat in a day.

Anything please?

Hey, I am 28 FTM. I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes very early on like at 7weeks maybe. I was immediately put on metformin 500 mg morning and evening. My fasting sugars are still high so yesterday my obgyn referred me to an endocrine and he put me on night time insulin starting with 4 units. I am currently 10 weeks & 4 days pregnant what surprised me was I lost 4 kgs (8.8 lb) within 2 weeks. I had a lot of blaoting that has massively reduced in past 2 days.

Could it be because of clean diet? I have cut carbs, no sugar at all and more protein.

OR

Could it be because of medicine?

OR

It was just bloat from water retention and now that placenta has took over. I am feeling bit lighter?

OR

Worst...I had a MMC. But I don't have any cramping or spotting. I feel ok. I barely had any pregnancy symptoms from the start so I don't know.

Have anyone faced this?

I am 10 weeks today and have a smooth pregnancy so far in terms of symptons. And don't get me wrong this appreciation post is not just about working pregnant moms. Growing a baby is itself a big task and I have huge respect for every mom out there- working and no-working..

But being a working lady I feel it so hard to work and then I think about women who are in physical work or are in later stage of pregnancy and still working. HUGE RESPECT.

Today I was on verge of breaking infront of my manager. They are expecting same level of energy and work as I used to deliver but now I don't have the energy. I am constantly stressed about work, I feel like I am failing at my job, I even thought about taking a sabatical because this expectation is too much to handle. I feel like if I don't perform I will not get my increment or worse I will loose this job. No matter how hard I try I am not able to cope up with hospital visits, injections, gestational diabetes..all this is too much.

I know many women who have gone through this and performed well in every aspect. But I feel like a failure in my job, in my body. I am not even properly taking care of my unborn baby. I am alone at home and look after the household work and meals for me, my husband and my FIL. I don't have the time and energy to deal with everything😭
