My 2k UW monitor isnt working, dont know if I should go 1080p or going 1080p UW
My baby isn't working anymore 😢 it turns on and detects hdmi but all pixels remain black. I am a broke college student, its at a really critical time in my life my with a lot of expenses coming up so I only have the budget for a small monitor.
I will miss the pixels but idk if 1080p 21:9 is viable at all, why are there so few 2560 x 1080p monitors? is there something wrong about that resolution? Why is 2k the standard for 21:9 anyway?
I need advice on upgrading my GPU or PC to play GTA 6 and Gears of War: E-Day on 3440x1440p
Hi, I'm saving up for a good GPU upgrade, I can run almost all games fine on ultra, I could play Gears 5 and GTA 5 at high/ultra no problem at 90-100fps on my setup, but I feel like it is going to struggle with these new games here are my specs:
- Ryzen 5 5600X
- RX 6650XT
- 16GB DDR4 RAM
- MSI A520M-A PRO
- 1TB SSD M.2
- P750GM 80plus gold (I think its 750W I guess?)
Should I even upgrade just my GPU or does my PC need something else? I was thinking about buying 2x16GB of RAM but I think 16GB might still hold up, I'm on a lentils and soup just to upgrade my GPU and cosmetic surgery (I want to be beautiful). Thanks!!!!
No offense but I'm curious as to why does it seem some wait until they are mostly bald to desperately start treatment?
Hi, not wanting to point fingers or mock or anything but as soon as I noticed my hair was thinning I hopped hardcore on oral fin (then dut) and topical min (no oral min available here). Results are great, no side effects. I was born with a bad hairline (yes really) so I was always going to need a transplant but Dr said I had great density and I caught my problem really early.
He talked to me about how severe most of his patients were and I got really curious as to what was up with all those guys online who are clinging at every possible option and spending colossal amounts of money like... okay you care a lot about appearance (so do I, I got a rhino) but it seems obvious that if you are vain like me you'd start as early as possible, like, well me.
So what were these types of guys doing while their hairline was receding and their crown thinning? Like using topical fin/min on low doses because they were afraid of sides? Or maybe they thought they didn't care until they did? Or just silent panicking lol? I am very curious to hear your stories
How it GENUINELY feels realizing you missed a collectible after you can't go back for it
Anyone else kind of legitimately scared of ́playing this game?
I am very very sensitive to concepts and conversations like how we are just neurons firing and misfiring in our brain and the question of how consciousness works.
I am a horror gamer I live for thrilling chases but SOMA was different, Mark Sarang's quarters speech fucked me up good, I had to stand up and walk around to calm down. The mirror scene at Theta, the Brandon Wan simulation, the ambiance and existential dread of Tau' last humans were chilling.
It all stuck with me, more philosophical side as you can see and I can tell ONTOS will do the same. I hope I don't green out during the game lmao. So curious as to what its going to be like.
How has the internet gotten so good at wiping morbid pictures/videos off from the face of the earth? I thought "if its on the internet it will always be on the internet"?
Some of the charlie kirk videos i downloaded have even stopped playing for some ominous, dystopian reason. I was looking up Liam Payne's body and the supposedly terrible and grim internet has completely eliminated every single source of these pictures.
I feel like the internet is good at spreading the pictures quickly but there must be some sort of program or algorithm developed sometime during the last 4 or so years that has gotten really good at just deleting a selected pictures or videos automatically no matter the site or source. Like I said even my saved morbid videos have been bricked which has very scary implications.
I am a very morbidly curious person goddammit, is there any news, information or anything about this topic? I swear in 2010 when morbid pictures were released they were here to stay, forever. Now it feels so curated, sanitized, its profoundly dissappointing.
How does a High Lord of Terra's professional career look like? How old are they? What kind of people end up in that position? Are they all born enhanced and rich or could your average "Joe Imperium" end up as a High Lord?
Basically I wanted to know if there is any mention in the lore of how someone can end up being 1 of 12 people ruling a quintillion-people-strong imperium. Like is nepotism and corruption a big factor? Is there any high lord whose origins and career is described, even on the vaguest of terms? And how much time is it required for someone to rise above trillions of brilliant applicants and ambitious minds to end up in as a high lord?
I am aware they were scattered together but were spit out at different times, I know Corax was spat out almost 200 years after Horus, but besides II and XI which ones had the least time pass from their perspective from creation -> death/disappearance, it has to be Ferrus, Sanguinius, Horus, Alpharius or Curze since the rest disappear a considerable amount of time afterwards...
